this game now is truly for the 1% only
" I disagree with everything else you said, but I definitely agree with this. The lantern is a real unique way of modifying zones and maps, up to and including replacing entire packs with a whole different type of your choosing. This is cool, and gives us more control in customizing our danger or adding monsters worth making into spectres. I strongly doubt Necropolis crafting will be added to core. Since they gutted Harvest, GGG's been making sure nothing else goes core. However, if there's anything I want to see added to the base game, it's Arimor's Lantern and the Allflame Embers. " I don't want to give the impression I'm siding with them on this, but given how long I've been playing, this game kinda isn't meant for normies. I'm not saying that in a derogatory way, but PoE has historically been a very difficult game which can only be overcome with a level of grinding most people with limited time won't have. Unfortunately, I don't think that's ever going to change. We were very close to that being different back in 3.13 when Harvest was in its glory days, when normies and casuals could strive to create their own powerful gear without needing a lot of currency. Pretty much the expected reaction after people got addicted to the taste of Affliction. Let them cool off while the rest of us keep cooking I say
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" my problem is that what they did this patch and the forced league that bloated the gap. im talking specifically about ubers,if that wasnt obvious enough. T17 gate is making such a "gap",that it's basically insurmountable. it triples it. my league goal is to make a build, kill ubers and be done with it. now ? i doubt if i can make it in time frame i have, which in turn make me wonder if i should even bothering paying at all, considering league feature are dogshit fun wise. "Speak for yourself. Affliction was so over the top, personally I quit 2 weeks in. This game thrives precisely because GGG is not afraid to experiment. Different leagues appeal to different audiences. If I wanted to be showered with currency permanently I could also play D3. Necropolis is very refreshing in contrast. |

" Wow! So basically you just told: I will leave the game ASAP after I reach ubers (or maybe 40/40?) reducing the game's online? It is completely detrimental approach for the GGG. If players leave - they don't generate profit. They don't buy tabs, cosmetics, they don't watch streamers and everything else an "average joe" does. This is F2P game, you're supposed to play the whole league, not just first two weeks. If you can't play the game effectively - watch the streamers. You're completely dependent on their opinion anyway. Last edited by cursorTarget#1174 on Apr 2, 2024, 1:34:41 PM

" The customization aspect is fine and helpful. Especially when it comes to information about enemies. But this isn't what I was referring to. I mean it improves the overall threat level of the game. Something that has been insufficient in the base game for a long time. Being balanced well below normal modes of typical rpgs. |
