Debbie Downer comment but....the sooner folks start to think of it as a COMPLETELY separate entity, the better. It is NOT an expansion of this game. It is NOT connected to this game. It uses the PoE title, but its much like D3 or D4 was to D2, a successor in name only.
I actually wouldn't even be surprised if, at first, we need to create an entirely new PoE 2 ACCOUNT.
This is in no way saying the names would transfer over, but you can go to
https://pathofexile2.com/ and log in with your account right now.
Is there anything you can do with it, not really, and pretty much every link you click will take you back to the main PoE site, but it does have your name and how much money you currently have on your account right there.
