" based on not bothering my arse with the league(i'm guessing that's what you are looking at, the lack of achievements in the league) Myabe get a clue? Also if you have nothing to say but GGG servers are bad, then just don't if you can't provide actual proof it IS a you problem. Ancestral Bond. It's a thing that does stuff. -Vipermagi

EU servers are overloaded at peak hours so sometimes people get routed to less crowded servers like Canada (they sleep when we play). Canada is pretty far away so latency gets horrible.
Proof? Check your clients log for instance IP then do an IP lookup. |

" it's not about proof, it's about a diagnose to find out the cause. if it's a internet related problem, 90% of the infrastructure involved in transporting your data belongs to third parties. that's how the internet works. of course you can blame it on the servers, but ggg won't look at it if you don't point them to a specific server at a certain time so they can find out what went wrong. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

i am having the same problem. the servers seem unstable for last week. doubt thats on my end, too many people having the same issues, also other games work just fine.

" Apart from the routing, if that was the case, wouldn't EU servers have basically been unplayable especially during the first 8 weeks of the league? Why would that be a thing now when there's barely 20-30k ppl left playing so deep into the league? The peak you're talking about was likely 5-6 times as high several weeks ago, but now? Nah. |

I tried to play today on Frankfurt which started to act up with the usual ping/lag at first and a DC to desktop at the boss fight in Canyon.
Had a traceroute running during my game session and looked up the various IP's, only to find out that my pathing from Copenhagen, Denmark to Frankfurt, Germany was being pathed like this: Pc Router ISP Amsterdam Amsterdam Dallas Sydney Frankfurt Sydney Frankfurt No wonder that the lag is so bad! Anyway, I'm done with POE for now. Not much point in wasting my time on this game and all of the connectivity issues it has. |

" Question is why GGG would completely brick the routing for EU players like that. Quite obvious that this leads to a massive rollercoaster in connectivity/ping/latency or whatever. Can't be that hard to provide the playerbase with enough servers in their respective regions, can it? Also, I have a hard time seeing how even this routing can explain how just today I had a 10min stretch of ~9000-10000 latency spikes. US Servers would normally have me play on ~150. Just what the hell is going on? This is almost comical as I wasn't able to play the game at all for months due to the particle upgrade a while ago, which now I have solved by paying for a premium Geforce Now subscription playing PoE on high-end rigs via cloudgaming service. Every game runs butter smooth with zero delay, except now PoE ofcourse (again). Lmao Last edited by SloppyJoker#3490 on Feb 22, 2024, 2:49:44 PM
