i'm playing for the last days on frankfurt and amsterdam an never experienced lag (not playing juiced content though).

you need to bring up some proof (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1377789) that it's the servers causing the lag and at least point ggg to the problematic ip adresses so they can do something against it if it's really the servers.

if you just wanna vent here, that's not really helpful for the issue.
age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!
I'll further that by saying i jumped on within 30 minutes of someone posting the same sort of complaint, and tried every EU server and maps on all of them and the result was a stable ping on every server with between 25 and 50 ms (depending on the physical location of the server..distance adds ms)

The sad part is people would rather shout about their problem instead of doing something about it and nothing improves for them.

Switching hideouts does fix the problem for me atleast, once in a while.
Say a switch every third very juiced map.

...and how thats related to certain connections on our end...?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OzEOUUmtzRY&t helped a lot for me
Lately, Amsterdam server seems very unstable.

Was playing fine yesterday for some time, and then horrible jumps in latency began, even though the internet seemed to be working fine.

Changed the server to Frankfurt then and apparently latency problems were gone.

Just switch servers maybe periodically, but sure, I agree that somehow in the past several? months servers seem less stable.
New mute system is terrible - no trade...

Just play other games. I started to play HC SSF, when ping is going crazy I just play other games, sometimes in the same location as the PoE without any issues or even further.
The problem persist, I think they know about it because even friendly to GGG streamers complain about it loudly.

It reminds be like 20 years ago and wireless internet.
What surprises me is that there are people who still defend their servers and don't even play this game LOLW

On Probation Any%

I get your point but I'm not providing any proof to GGG whatsoever - one, because even fi I do, nothing will be done, and secondly, I play 5 other online games with 0 issues. And it's not like there aren't other people complaining about it, too.

The one thing I'll say is that it comes and goes when it pleases. Spikes upwards of 3k MS, going down to normal and then up again. It's unplayable for 5 to 10 minutes, then it's fine.

It's okay in the hideout, it's not okay in maps. It's okay in Vaal side areas, it's not okay in maps. It's okay in maps, lags in hideout.

Anyway - every single thread about latency issues is being disregarded, like always, as if it's not their servers crapping out.

Just got dropped whilst typing this - unexpected disconnection occurred. Ping has been going crazy from 30ms to 3k, up and down like a roller coaster.

In the meantime, I'm running network/bandwidth monitors - 0 packet loss, no interruptions, no disconnections, steady 900+ down/up.

smh

sounds rly funny when y are playing game and y must proofe what devs have problems, not y, and in case of poe xddd (i did mtr tests and sended it to ggg btw, in moments of spikes)

poe is game , when y can play 3.20 and all fine, and y can play 3.22-3.23 or august 6bg patch, y will see no graphic different and y will read in patchnotes " we did good idea to unload cpu and load gpu", and after all of this y see like your mid-high spec pc cannot play stable fps like it was previous patch

in real, ggg see problems with a lot of loot index and servs loads and just waiting death of legue, maaaaybe they will look at this problem in next patch, but no, thay will not, cause they know nearly nothing about poe xd.

and yes BRING UP OF PROOOOOOF BRUH, hatred

You really don't get any point, you provide proof and IF it is on their end they WILL do something about it, it's literally a service they are fucking paying for and expect to get.

The problem is that almost ALL of the connection issues are the result of something NOT on the GGG end so if YOU don't diagnose your connection YOU won't ever get it fixed.

And the more people that bleat it's the servers only makes matters worse because people like yourself just join the sheep and blame the servers instead of doing something about it.
