Please nerf us in 3.24! :)

After merge we will have hit immune characters due to taking everything as fire with 400% ruby flask effect and ludiculous damage from zero cost vaal skills.

Its standard sure but i doubt there will be nerfs besides the juiced currency drops that will be gone with the league mechanic.

Standard also has chests with 25k res, doubt they really care about standard at this point, which is a shame for the small amount that enjoy playing it.

It isn't really a shame standard is filled with that stuff and hardly stops you from enjoying whatever your actually playing there, legacy items is a strong part of the appeal and you can get anything under the sun on standard.

Mageblood distorts content far more than the occasional giga res chest does and we have to deal with that every league :p
Occasional broken legacy item like 4x fractured base or 25k% res chest isn't nowhere near as damaging to the game integrity like that progressing homogenization of loot.

Starting from legion league loot became more and more homogenized because these mechanics are centered in giving us loot from other mechanics in them. You get catalysts, div cards, stacked decks, delirium orbs and sim splinters, lab items etc etc as rewards in simulacrum, legion, heist, blight, expedition and whatnot.

Second, much more direct and damaging phase of homogenization came with voidborn reliquary keys and valdo's puzzle boxes. Now you get items that came from very specific sources (precursor's emblem, watcher's eye, nimis, progenesis etc etc) from a fucking lootbox that drops in regular mapping. And they are so common that foiled variants are more numerous (on trade) than actual regular variants made from proper content.

These voidborn keys / valdo puzzleboxes are proof why you can't let players have that much decision impact in game design

I know there is too much in the high end, but I would not know where to start the nerfs. :D But I would assume it would be something along the lines of how we get to the high power levels, for example Legion 5-way exp + currency farming with MF and Beastcraft Synth rerolling + imprinting. You know, things that are benefitting those who have the dough to get started.

I don't really mind if people in Standard kill Uber Pinnacle bosses in 5 seconds, but if the same can happend in a temporary league some days in, then the accessability of maximum power level with items is too high. :D

edit: oh I forgot, caster bows. wtf please.

The "nerfs" after this season will be removing the borrowed power from wildwood ascendancies. Some gem balance will happen (e.g. a nerf to Penance Brand of Dissipation) but we'll also receive new borrowed poewr from the next league mechanic.

What do I mean by borrowed power?
- Affliction: wildwood ascendancies
- TotA: tattoos
- Crucible: weapon trees
- Sanctum: relics
- Kalandra: mirrored jewellery
- Sentinel: recombinators + special mods

None of these were added to the core game so far. So rest assured, you won't have to worry about players getting nerfed. :P
