Um ok thanks, but if that's the case, why can we buy invitations from Kirac or other players?
If I need to witness 10 to be able to run the invite, and if after witnessing these (or even fewer -- I've had yet another one drop on me just now) an invitation drops, then I will always have more invitations than I can run ...? What am I failing to understand?
Invitation drops are RNG based but you can witness whenever you want, except when you´ve already "stored" that specific boss.
So you cant build up a pool of say 3 witnessed Shapers, its always going to be capped at 1 Shaper and then you either "consume" that witnessed boss in an invitation or its going to sit there forever.
Basically, you want to get rid of witnessed bosses as soon as you can but you cant guarantee an invitation drop to do it.
Also the only reason to do it would be farming Maven Writs to fight her and the 10-way bossfights are notoriously bad for that purpose.
Any of the other invitations do drop way more and speed up the progress towards Maven significantly but are also much much harder to do.
Thanks for the fast reply.
I've been having an "atlas invitation" drop about once per map, it must be freak luck then. I have six now before I have witnessed 10 bosses, it just seems like at this rate I'll have 30 invitations before I can be able to run 3 of them.... That feels somehow wrong, especially seeing how I can buy them even in SSF from Kirac.
I still don't have my maven Voidstone so I was actually hoping to find her this way, that's why I bought the invitation from Kirac....
