We need to talk about ruthless. Please devs hear me

Ruthless Is almost perfect. It just needs one change to draw in more people and make it more enjoyable. Enable ALL gems to be dropped including movement skills.

Start with quickstep but enable others as drop.

Perhaps the devs should make a poll about this on the main page and implement it based on the poll ?

I sincerely hope GGG never makes game design choices based on public polls, ever.
The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.
A rare moment I agree with the first two posts, public polls are beyond useless in a forum, I also think most of the removed from ruthless should be there either from Sosisa or as drop enabled gems, even if high level.
Hmm, I guess that then "classic Ruthless" players that were to dislike this change could just... random transmute / give away / vendor them ??
No change will make people play Ruthless. Those who are interested in it, already play it. Those who dont play it, wont even with changes.

This is a really interesting take. Democracy is bad or is it?

If democracy is bad for a video game then God help those countries whose leaders are elected by public vote lol.

They wouldnt have to use the forum, they could integrate it into the game with random draw for participation and rewards for completing. They would get fairly representative results that way.
(Whether majority opinion makes sense or no for a particular thing is another question. IMO it depends on the thing.)
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!

Path of Exile is not a state of people. It's a commercial product. Leave politics outside video games ffs. We're customers, not citizen. If you want to vote so badly do it with your wallet.

Like, if you think a public poll is the same as democracy you really have no idea what democracy means. I'm happy to point you to some web resources where you can freshen up if you like

As someone who does not play Ruthless, this change will not cause me to play Ruthless. If you want tog et more people to play Ruthless, then you will invariably make changes similar to what GGG has done over the years to the base game and it stops being Ruthless.

Election voting uses extremely expensive checks (personal identification, hand-counting of paper ballots) to ensure double-voting or impersonation doesn't happen.

Meanwhile with Internet polls you get this :

P.S.: Extra context.
