Oh my GOD dude trying to engage with trade in this game is OBNOXIOUS. Like how many mfs do I have to whisper before one of them decides they have enough patience to make a sale today? WHY DO THEY HAVE TO PRESENT FOR THE SALE JUST LET ME HIT A BUTTON AND EXCHANGE CURRENCY FOR GOODS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH On top of that you have to use like 3 different third party tools to make the experience bearable at all. You guys know that console players get to trade easily? They get to just put an item up for sale and forget about it and then come back and it's sold. WTF man. Which one of these devs owns stock in playstation, it must be one of them what other reason would there be for trading to be the way it is.

If you don't like trading, then just don't? Many players are happy and content playing SSF, or playing Trade but only buying absolute necessities. You choose how much or how little you engage with trading at all

from my experience, people in ruthless mode always stop their fights for a trade, even if its just one alteration orb

Don't try to buy 3 Essences for 12 chaos or stuff like that. If you really need sth then buy it for a divine(you can sell your chaos orbs for divs etc.)
Most trades can be prevented by rolling the rares you need yourself. If you buy stuff in bulk for 1 div and you scroll down a bit before starting to wisper people, usually(maybe not this league) you only have to wisper 1-2 people. Try to trade as little as possible otherwise, because yes, it's not fun and it's not meant to be fun. Working as intended. Poe is not a buisness. Whoever treats it as such, well, there is sth wrong with you to be honest^^ |

" Yeah, no, that's a ridiculous suggestion. Path of Exile is designed from the ground up to make trade a necessity. The game is balanced with necessity for trade in mind. By excluding yourself from engaging in trade, you're making the game multiple times harder to play as you can now only find the things you need purely through the mercy of RNG. Good luck fighting Uber Elder for voidstones within a reasonable time frame. Good luck getting the Forbidden Flesh/Flame jewels your build might need. The league will be over before you even get a Headhunter/Mageblood if that's something you were hoping to use. SSF is, and from the looks of it always will be, a challenge mode. Telling people frustrated with a terrible trading system to play a challenge mode is like saying you should play ruthless, because you don't like how hard the base game is. It's nonsensical, and ultimately is meant to hand-wave away any valid criticism of the game. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
