Challenge Ultimate Undertaking doesn't complete for Inscribed Ultimatum

+ 1 had 3 so far, not with he 30% life but that isn't anywhere on the requirements...

is this intended behaviour or are we waiting for a fix?

I have a theory as to which mods count and which ones do not, that probably won't make sense to anyone but GGG.

I'm thinking that it might only be counting Inscribed Ultimatum modifiers that have a linked "Mods" entry in the last client column of "UltimatumModifiers.dat64", which the community schema calls "UniqueMapMod".

This could explain why some have observed that items with a higher mod count are more likely to complete the challenge as there's a better chance that there's 8 compliant mods in the set.

The apparent damage/life thresholds that people mention in this thread could imply that the modifiers that actually count, contribute more toward that accumulated amount than the ineligible modifiers.

Ran 2 10 mod Inscribed Ulitmatums in area 83 (100c ea) and did not get the challenge complete.

Ran 1 8 mod Inscribed Ultimatum in area 83 with 120% monster life and 30% monster damage(2 divine) on top of the 8 mods and got the challenge.

Still bugged. Just ran a 10 mod.

Just ran a lvl 83 inscribed ultimatum with 8 mods +% monster life, +% monster damage.
Didn't take a screenshot of item but IIRC mods were: Blistering Cold, Resistant Monsters, Dextrous Monsters, Occasional Impotence, Unstoppable Monsters, Razor Dance, Precise Monsters and Choking Miasma. (Less sure about the last two).
But I distinctly remember there being 8 icons on the map, and still didn't count.

I can confirm that, after two failed attempts, I successfully ran it.

As many before me have mentioned, the catch is that you seem to need the % inc monster life and damage in addition to at least 8 other mods.
The area should still be level 83.

This popped my 40/40 at last.
