Reduce multiple screen wide clear builds to 0 pls.
" Except those builds reduce server lag by eliminating monsters quickly, reducing the need for ongoing calculations involving them. High amounts of long duration poison stacking, on the other hand, is one of the things that is known to cause server lag in POE, because the game has to track potentially tens of thousands of poison stacks at a time. Fairgraves was a slave trafficker specialized in the kidnapping and transport of children. He was not "a good man".

" what matters is 'if you exceed cpu cycle count per game frame or not' and if yes, how frequently if you do it once per map - nobody cares, but if you do it frequently enough, maybe facing mobs that actually dont die from single hit it becomes a problem poisons, esp without prolif, rarely 'spread' like some of the bow builds where you have lots of projectiles applying various shit (with aoe) and it all happens in one or two frames. these frames get saturated, you got compression lag when simulation catches up burning its share of cpu cycles single case per node? not a problem. make it 5 out of 20 and remaining 15 is also affected. issues like this cascade quickly as one 'noisy' process eats up resources by fighting for resources. it is a mess nobody likes to untangle in production. in POE these tend to die down because the older the league the people spend more of time in towns eating up pretty much no server side resources |

" https://www.youtube.com/@OMGItsJousis Dude made his entire career based on fighting GGG's servers. The game literally slows down because of the servers when the threshold of calculations is passed. It's exactly how that works. |

" I did crash a few instances when my 6 poison carrion golems meet juiced blight content, with me also throwing double hexbloom and soulrend projectiles along the entire lane of mobs :beams proudly: Solution: GGG, please finally buff carrion golems so they'd kill stuff faster and cause less server load :) |

Another reliable way to bring it down is to run blighted map and build nothing but seismic towers. Don't even need a build to do it, wonder what happens if people run a flashmob like that with a few thousand participants :)

your truth, and also a ban Empyriangaming players will help to optimize game)))
But seriously, there are too many multi-colored effects on mobs, this should also have an effect, purely a country of unicorns |

" And here you come defending you all mighty game and knowing little about it. The amount calculations of damage, mainly in damage over time, that servers have to calculate is what degenerates server performance. There are several examples of that all over the web and Jousis is someone who actually tries them. If you manage to hit, let’s say with poison, a very considerable time a lot of mobs and don’t have high damage to kill them the servers will slow down to calculate all the dots and eventually crash. It’s been done and overdone. GGG servers are also not known to be top notch. |

" This type of response only promotes adversity. What a cheap dunk after so many much more reasonable responses. The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge.

" Maybe you should go read your forum’s post history and think a bit or it’s just others that “promote adversity” with their replies? Anyway, you can bypass the “cheap dunk” and read the info that comes next, it might be helpful. |

" Don't get it all twisted up by assuming that my banter in other places is an excuse for you to be toxic here hoho Also you basically repeated what other people said in a more hostile manner. Could have saved the time there hoho The opposite of knowledge is not illiteracy, but the illusion of knowledge. Last edited by ArtCrusade#4438 on Dec 19, 2023, 1:49:08 PM
