Probably quitting the league early - Story getting harder each league is NOT fun

Of course everything staggers, stuns, chills that kind of garbage character. You're using level 0 gear and claim that you "never found better gear"? How are you even past level 50 with no life, resis or damage???

What you want IS freebies.

Why are Forumanswers nowadays always either arrogant, agressive or offensive in their nature?

You just said like 5 times "haha skill issue bro" in multiple sentences. This doesn't help me or anyone else. If you check the forums or reddit you can easily see that this is not "my skill issue" but a change that GGG did.

Instead of being aggressive, why not trying to be helpful?
Also, my only goal with the story is "Getting through". I don't want to "explore" a gazillion gems I do not care about.
I want to finish the story to get to the part of the game I like: Maps, Blight, Delirium.

I am not even talking about the league mechanic at all as this is totally broken atm which doesn't need any further addition.

None of what I said was even remotely aggressive. I did not say "haha skill issue" I said if you can't make off-meta builds work, you're choosing the harder route, failing, then complaining. Either play something you enjoy and throw away whatever is pulling you toward being a contrarian to the meta or put some effort into your character to pull through difficult parts of the game.
I have also noticed the increase in stuns and staggers in this latest league. All of my deaths are due to being stun locked, frozen, or staggered, even with equipment and nodes that are supposed to prevent being stun locked. Happy to know I am not the only one experiencing this.
Actually I suspect it is the empowered mobs from the event that is causing the issue. They seem to freeze, stun, and stagger much faster and more often than regular mobs.
Typical. GGG overtunes the early campaign repeatedly, continuously adds new more mazy dead-end-laden layouts throughout, and basically ruins the leveling experience with garbage monster modifiers (some of which have no place in the campaign, others having no place in the game at all) that they introduced with archnemesis, or in many cases reintroduced after the issues with many of those same or very similar modifiers had finally been resolved by (quite rightly) removing them from nemesis and bloodlines. Longtime players notice just how much worse the experience has gotten and provide feedback on the forum. Toxic sycophants proceed to belittle and berate and insult the person providing feedback, possibly causing them to quit the game altogether. The feedback forum grows even more toxic and hostile to any actual criticism, no matter how constructive.
Fairgraves was a slave trafficker specialized in the kidnapping and transport of children. He was not "a good man".
WHATS WRONG WITH YOU PPL?????? THIS LEAGUE IS BONKERS!!! BEST LEAGUE IN YEARS!!!
Showers of currency, insane rewards, we have insane power, a lot of crazy builds work, state of the game is the best ever, you STILL FOUND SOMETHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT???? Finally a league mechanic that encourages character upgrades.
PoE1 3.23 - the best league of all time (an absolute banger)
----
PoE2 0.2f - a bit better, but PoE1 atlas is a million times better than PoE2 atlas
skill issue.

If you want help getting through story areas do this:
1) Determination
2) Flame Dash
3) Phase run on LMB, movespeed on boots
4) Some %armour on tree
5) Some regen or use life flasks
6) Max resists. Get some resist on tree for easier gearing or use Purity of Elements
7) Stone Golem, link with minion life

Dont tell me you tried everything when you literally wear a white helmet that you could throw a transmute on and craft a resistance as a suffix

1) Craft
2) Augment
Otherwise risk blocking resist slot.
No wonder it's lost, it's in the middle of the jungle!
Do people not realize that ailments, stuns, and other things are based on YOUR defenses and THEIR attack power?

When you have a league mechanic that superjuices monsters...plus a character with zero defenses and no hp....of COURSE that is going to lead to longer and more frequent stuns/ailments/etc! That is how they work.

MANY people slap on purity of elements to run the story: free ailment immunity and a hefty amount of resistances. You don't NEED oodles of damage so you can forego the big 50% damage aura until later.

Starting in Act 4, its no secret that you need to start getting life rolls on basically all your gear to keep rolling comfortably through without any worries. You get showered with life essences: every single act you should be using an essence on your lowest piece of gear and slapping it on. Maybe throw a benchcraft on there too.

These are basic basic basic gameplay things....and they would solve ALL your complaints.

You don't even have to stop using Purity of Elements at any point. It's a super comfy aura that fixes elemental ailments for you completely before something like Stormshroud becomes available

Doubt OP is reading the suggestions tho
