[0.11.2] Flicker Samurai - Ranger Build Guide [updated]

Hi thank you for this buid.
I want to add 3 things : first is that for leveling I used unique 2 handed axes with "culling strike" very nice combo with blood rage. + i have a question why coosing power charge over frenzy for the last bandit quest ? Have you done the maths on it ? Last word on bersek node : 2 point for 15% atack speed ? you cad easely have 20%more phys damage for the same price and the way armor works on this game I think it's a better choise no ? |

" Frenzy 'probbaly' gives you higher damage for most cases, but it really depends what your crit multiplier is. I've not done the maths, but honestly it's more a preference kind of thing, they're both good options. After testing beserker node vs 20% phys damage, the DPS difference is almost none, I ended up losing a tiny amount of damage when I switched to 20% phy ~200 or something (currently at 32.8K dps flicker) @Kry You're missing bloodrage - this is key! I don't know why I keep dying but I tend to get insta-gibbed by many mob packs. Heres my gear.

" This build is inherently squishy, but you shouldn't really "keep dying", except maybe due to desync or freak accidents. Here's a few things you should probably consider doing if you're not already: * Bow in alternate slot for building frenzy charges at range, use both for building initial charges and also if you run out for some reason (e.g. if bloodrage ran out when you'r not paying attention). * Leap slam for escaping/moving around obstacles * Enduring cry / immortal call, if you don't use these two then you're going to have big troubles on physical reflect eventually. If the monsters are tough I always keep 3 enduring cry charges up, and if things get hairy immortal call is only a button away. * Positive chaos resistance: nullifying the negative effect of bloodrage is very important imo, if you don't it lowers your suitability greatly - life-leech will be far less potent. * For auras, I generally don't bother with purity and use determination instead for the extra armour. With 3 enduring cry charges + determination + grace + flask, damage reduction is somewhere like 83% on character sheet. "there is no spoone" - The Matricks

I revamped my gems gear and setup a bit. Not having death problems anymore but I am definitely having mana problems on any map I am not solo'ing. 'Tis our downfall I guess though with flicker. A much better solo build than team-build.

" I seem to get along fine, if you go back throuhg my posts in this thread I cover this exact point. My flickerstrike only costs 50 mana and that is with a 6-link. I have 50% reserved by hatred and determination, leaving me with about 270. I have 2% mana leech plus mana potion and never really run dry (see videos). The nice thing about accuracy gem = 100% multiplier (cost does not go up!!) and power-charge on critical is only 110% multiplier, so only goes up by 1.1 times. "there is no spoone" - The Matricks

There's no way you could make build increments per say, every 20 levels or so if you're bored some day? I guess I got used to following builds like that but I've been looking for a Flicker Strike build for a while and that would help me a great deal.
