why do you show mirror tier builds on youtube?

why is the official poe channel showing builds that like 99% of the playersbase wont even be able to achieve???
like whats the point?
"oh look whats possible"
"by the time you can afford this build we allready nerf'd it"

??
ggg has lost all connections to the ordinary playerbase,
i'd consider myself a casual-mediocre gamer and the only thing i can afford throughout the league is maybe a headhunter...

This build is quick and easy to get up and running. Just follow these easy steps.

Step 1: Have a mirror.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

Cause they like to showcase unordinary and special builds. Not and different in this case cause this build is different to the normal 2 standard TS builds people play.

Besides that they don't ask you to play the build, it's just a showcase of some ridiculous possible interactions and builds created by someone in the community, in this case the quick zoom zoom warp fun.
Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

whats the point in showcasing it when the majority cant even achieve to play it ...

Everyone can achieve the build if they wanted to, it's not like the creator has some exclusive items nobody else can achieve or get in the game.

There's no fair reason to not showcase a pretty unique and unordinary build just because it's a bit more expensive or the creator took their time to min-max it to the level they want. They could even show off a really low budget version and it wouldn't look and different in a showcase.

I was making fun of the build GGG showcased. Not even I have a mirror. XD

That's bad argument. Majority of playerbase work with less than 40-50d a league and even that is probably overselling it. Listen, majority of players havent reached red maps yet. I am serious.

I could make this argument:

If GGG wanted to showcase cool builds to playerbase, they wouldn't lock it behind a full-time job grind.
What a silly post. Why does ANYONE watch video game content? Its pretty darn common to watch streamers or videos of things you CAN'T do yourself, whether its for learning purposes or entertainment. Its pretty rare that you choose to watch content that is at or below your own level.

Hell, 90% of all video content you probably watch are things you will never achieve or do. Why should these showcases be any different?

As others have said, the builds they choose to showcase are not "everyman" builds: they are specifically chosen for their uniqueness, brilliance, and rarity. I'm GLAD they aren't showcasing a 10c build...how boring would that be!

To add onto this: Chris said back in an interview during Expedition league that most players quit after act 10.

So not only do most players not have a lot of divines to work with, those who stayed for mapping rank amongst the few, fewer still likely made it to reds, and fewer than that are probably geared up and capable of fighting aspirational bosses, nevermind their uber versions.

So expensive build showcases, or at least this one in particular, are meant mostly for ultra wealthy players. I don't think that's gonna appeal to many players who won't be able to fit that category.
