Can any PoE veteran clear this out for me ?

@OP You do realize that people kill guardians with melee builds by the thousands every day right? And for WAY less than 40 div i might add? And that some people can sustain 300+ trauma stacks while doing 6k delve where every trash monster hit's like a pinnacle boss?

If you wanna play any skill you like then learn how to make builds. Currently you are like a guy who only ever had automatic cars and then goes "It's impossible to drive without automatic gear shift" after trying a manual one.

One doesn't have to run 300+ trauma and 6k delve to get some enjoyment from a videogame. If a busted balance encourages elitism, it doesn't mean you have to ride it to count as "good player". For example some noob with weak self-made build may have better personal movement or awareness skills than someone who slaps poison SRS and goes wroom without looking at the screen.

I meant it more like I just dont get enjoyment from following other people builds to last detail for them to be able to go 1000 depth Delve.

I personally enjoy RPG games where you get better with time as you UPGRADE your character, not game like PoE where you have to buy things for 50+ divs and build it from that in one go.

Not even talking about this cycle "I dont have enough divines to build a build which can make enough divines".

I also always felt like there is a wall in this game over no casual player without "1000 divs" is allowed if you know what I mean...

I've never followed build guide or even installed PoB. However, in order to play poe like this, you have to be prepared to deal with the consequences :)

Endgame is balanced around top 1% playerbase copypatsing PoB data from each other, so you'll be poor and beaten to hell and back with hundreds in deaths count for a really long time. And asking for help may end in "y'know, MAKE A BETTER CHARACTER" replies. Although there are people who genuinely wish to help too.

Thats simply because you are severly lacking game knowledge.
No offense but thats what it is.

You dont need any of the things you mentioned. You can upgrade your character over time and you can create your own builds.
However each of things does require a good amount of knowledge and until you invested the time to acquire said knowledge the wall you mentioned will exist and you will have to follow guides as well as you will have to buy items - at least for a while.

Thats simply how PoE works.
If thats not for you, fair enough, play something else instead.

The wall is because this game never intended to be for casual players. There are tons of games out there that cater to casuals, this is one of the very few that does not. That's not to say a casual cannot play and enjoy it. But power and progress comes from time, whether that's learning how to be better at making builds or spending time copying someone else's.

If you don't have a lot of time to dedicate and you don't want to copy someone's build, you can still play. But you should temper your expectations as to how far you can comfortably get in the game. If that isn't okay then this is not the game for you.

that's just wrong. people kill ubers with stuff like heavy strike on a 10 div budget, and there are dozens of vids like this on youtube. you don't need a lot of currency to clear all content in poe, you only need a lot of currency if you want to one shot everything at light speed. up to a certain point, knowledge is power in poe, not currency. it's meaningless to have 100 divs if you have no idea how to use it

and you don't need guides once you know what you're doing. I haven't followed a single guide after my first build in synthesis, because honestly, most of the guides you'll find online are dogshit and you can make something much better by just spending some time in pob. but I'm pretty sure your build is all over the place and you don't know how to minmax it, so instead you've decided to bring the currency argument into the table. boneshatter doesnt require a lot of currency to work, and that's why it's one of the best starters. do you think people start the league with a full build and 300 divs? nah, they kill pinnacles on the third day of the league with trash gear

Pretty sure yes, this wasn't my first post of that kind and certainly not my last. These kind of posts where someone claims "x is impossible with y" without even trying, or barely trying in this case, just rub me the wrong way.

If i am new to a game and can't get something done i go and ask what i can improve to change that. That's the normal and reasonable thing to do imo. Yet this forum is filled to the brim with people who go directly: "This is impossible/bad balance GGG fix please" when 9 times out of 10 just using their money better would have resulted in them not having any issues.

With 40 divines on a melee build you can go and kill ubers easily. And here we have OP complaining that melee can't even do guardians with that investment. It's ridiculous.

it's always easier to blame the game. I'm pretty sure you can do guardians with like 3 divs on boneshatter jugg.
