This patch was the last straw. Im done supporting this game. You dont deserve it anymore.

Not even going to go into it, but when you are putting things into the game like negative QOL (talk to niko to refill flasks) ? What the fuck ?
You are killing your own game, I dont care about poe2/ruthless i will never play it, at all, period. Im here for this game, the one ive been supporting from the start and you are fucking it up. Last edited by stormyknight#7628 on Aug 11, 2023, 1:35:59 PM Last bumped on Aug 13, 2023, 2:04:11 AM

In diablo 4 you gotta do it too, so it is not like you got any relevant alternative in arpg genre.
Chris also wanted this for years, i've heard him mention it in old interviews. Also this is ruthless change for delve, you do not sound like the kind of player to play ruthless. Flasks are no longer automatically refilled upon entering or leaving Delve in Ruthless. Niko is now able to refill your flasks for you. Because I do not play ruthless why should i get mad over this tiny stuff. I feel pretty, Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty, and witty and gay, And I pity Any girl who isn’t me today! | |
" You should be mad because they HAPPILY releasing league and core supporter packs for poe1 while diverting it would seem almost all the resources into NOT po1 and a mode nobody plays so they can slowly take a shit all over poe1 and force people into poe2, I predict they are going to kill BOTH games. |

I'm not going to repeat it here, but I believe ProjectPT said it best after the Xbox/console announcement...

" Honestly it feels like PoE1 is just PoE2's testing ground since the first moment they've decided to create two separate games. Ruthless is just alpha testing for PoE2 and so are a lot of smaller things which we had over the past few leagues in PoE1. PoE1 is already dead once PoE2 arrives as I think they simply cut down the support for it at all to force everyone into their new product. For PoE2 it's already quite dead and not even released yet, but a lot of people don't like what they've shared at the exilecon at all, cause it's simply isn't PoE anymore. It's looks quite like Diablo or any other argps on the market just with iconic Path of exile elements, but that's about it. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

This patch lives or dies on the numbers on the new support gems. Gems like Trauma for example, has to be BETTER than the random damage support it replaces, because it also gives you a huge negative side. It is also exclusively for strike skills, which, with a couple of exceptions, are mechanically bad, and need all the love they can get.
League mechanic itself looks different and interesting. (Question regarding Volatility; how many sources of lucky attacks do we have, except being a Gladiator?) Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

" HAHAHA, yeah, I remember that. Also remember the reaction from Chris afterwards. ROFL. |

Yea, PoE1 is there now for one purpose and one purpose only, to fund PoE2.
If they had enough money they'd probably scrap it right here and now, since they quite evidently despise the PoE1 that they created. Pretty sure PoE1 will get dropped the moment PoE2 goes live. Maybe not officially, but internally it will be laid to rest. The only good thing about PoE2 presentation for me was the visual upgrade and dual trees, rest was a headache. " In theory Trauma support sounds good for Lightning Strike as it gives general more damage. So in that case it would amplify both the melee and projectile part. But i assume there will be a "but wait.."-part when they reveal the actual support gem stats. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore "A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body." Only usable with Ethanol Flasks Last edited by gandhar0#5532 on Aug 11, 2023, 3:39:40 PM

" Sure it would be nice for LS. But what existing gem would you swap out for Trauma? My point; Trauma has to be a lot better than the gem you're swapping out, because you're adding a lot of self-harm too. And I don't really think it will be. Call that a "but wait..." example, if you will :) I actually think it will be worse than the Boneshatter trauma portion (even though Boneshatter has it built in, and don't have to use a support gem spot for its scaling), to keep Boneshatter's "uniqueness". And that will defeat the whole purpose of a Trauma gem. But hey, we'll see. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.
