PoE Density is so good.

Fucking how good are skill point unlocks? So good. Pretty much brings any build online in the first half hour. Bleedbarb took a bit longer due to the game-changing Rupture but all my others are doing their thing real early into the game.

I am amused that necro seems to be the tank class (only one to get a shield so it tracks) while the barbarian is proving much more technical due to the four legendary slot options on weapons. The Barbarian really benefits from unlocked aspects and materials/gold earned on previous characters.

Mucking about with chain lightning and lightning spear aka Yondu's Blue Whistle atm. I love how enchantments aren't a separate set of skills but a passive derived from existing ones. That's kinda clever.

...Sorry, kinda got off a rant there folks. OP has played her point out (mob density mostly is an Exile problem) and she just prompted me to talk about Diablo IV for a bit.

Such a fun game. :)

Necro's low tier which actually did kill uber lilith but it is garbage vs other classes it's like I ono ranked near sorc and sorc is just DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOG it's great they just die in 1 hit LMAO it's like whenever I play with sorcs right I imagine them writing WHY I GET 1 SHOT in poe cause you know most people don't know how to setup defenses in POE; In D4 right they don't have shit and one of there core components was confirmed to be BROKEN in terms of defense until ''Season 2''

Fucking HAHA

I don't hate PoE for the record. I still play occasionally.

It's just that PoE's development direction, to me, no longer respects a players time. The chasm between player types has gotten too large, and the alienation too much to overcome. I'd even argue that it seems like there is development disagree amongst devs at GGG Re: Ruthless, highlighting this issue.

PoE will continue to thrive amongst a more niche playerbase, of that I have no doubt, as the 40/40 types will be over D4 shortly, if not already.

Millions of others will be fine in their new home however. The scale of which should be very interesting to see next month into Exilecon and the couple leagues prior to critical 4.0 release.

I've been at D4 since 6/1. Nonetheless, D4 is barely holding my attention. I'm in a very weird place where I essentially hate D4 but don't want to come back to PoE. I got my deadeye to ~1.1k delve and had a mirrored bow before I left the season, so I wasn't a casual player. I'm not sure why I'm in such a strange place, but both games need major improvement.

In D4, I have a lvl 100 rogue, 80 druid, and currently leveling my barb who's lvl 51. D4's density is complete and utter dog sht. This game is boring me to tears every day. PoE has the same capacity to bore me as well since there's no challenging content except for trying to delve to 6k, but to do that, I'd have to play some meme ass build.. nah, f that.

Shieeet and that guy thought I was lying compared to like lets say hell even THE CAMPAIGN where you level in POE has more density then D4 dude.

It's that bad HAHA

One of the core reasons I even went to D4 was to play with my friends AND TO TALK MASSIVE SHIT ABOUT IT to prove I've played the fucking game or you know it would be ackward.

So you need to play that other game if you want to play with friends?

PS am I a "PoE Hater"? Is it really that simple? I love so much about it. I'm just not IN love with it anymore. I think the only thing I truly hate about it is how much it's holding GGG back creatively but hey you make your bed of spun gold, you lie in it. And occasional tell the truth too. Bwahaha.

You're not a POE hater in my book. People who enjoyed the game in the past and still come here to discuss the game are not really who I'm talking about. That doesn't exclude being critical of the game.

The people that I'm referring to take every good thing that happens and flip it into a negative. They pounce on ever bad thing and try to make it exponentially worse. They search for every metric they can to "prove" the game is bad. They would smile at POE actually dying. There isn't an ounce of positivity about POE coming from them. They know who they are.
Thanks for all the fish!

Complaining a game doesn't respect your time when you voluntarily spend hours every day posting on said game's forums seems a bit absurd to me or am I missing something here?
IMO, concurrency is healthy for any type of game, even here being a PoE forum, discussing some points that other ARPGs have to work on is a good thing.

Am I a PoE hater because I want the game to run smoother in the endgame? even with a PC well above the game's requirements clearly the engine itself does not support the amount of Juicy that the devs have added over time.

a lower mob density (doesn't have to be the same as diablo for example), but challenging would be a strategy for better performance and fun IMO.

unfortunately this is the only negative point of PoE for me, I hope that PoE 2 manages to have a smoother performance.

Poe mob density would be ok of the servers could handle it. Juicing is lag city. Just look at mf party groups. Some had like 15 seconds of lag from incursion. In fact empyrean knew how bad the kalandra loot nerfs were because he wasn't lagging. Those nerfs still haven't been reverted btw, at least other games drop things for killing monsters. Poe is basically a trade graph simulator with no fun trade tools.

This "other game" that apparently shall not be spoken here I gave a mid 5-6/10 before it was released. I can see it being a 7-8 for Very casual gamers as they wont even play enough to realise all the "faults" with it before dropping it from existence or the next expansion. It wasnt made for their usual audience, it was made to make money and make money it has done. There was never any doubt that it would do anything but that as they made sure it would do so by giving less for more and implementing restrictions xD.

It is quite funny to see some popular streamers lambast their viewers because they dare say the product isn't worth the valuation. I can tell you now off the top of my head 2 out of 3 I have seen doing so would actually tell you to Fck off at the Very Least if you said what they said to their viewers to them when they were not in the position they are in now xD How times change or would that be people. Funny af but dont get it twisted, most are financially tied to the success of games etc.

Thinking back I even remember a young woman telling her viewers "If you cant afford a sub to her then go get a better job" or something to that extent and she got so much drama for it.

Anyways as I said what? 2 months ago? the game for me is mid and really depends upon what the devs and higher ups do with the game/seasons.
