Different strokes for different folks.

I played in those times but honestly for me it was a mess. The fun thing for me about POE back then and even now is building my character and seeing it in action. I even like the tid bits of lore we get here and there. 3rd party sites I have moved away from using, even player interaction for me has taken a back burner and I use to really like partying up.

I miss Piety and Dominus runs being the "endgame" content. Countless hours spent farming for Abyssus and Bringer of Rain to sell/flip.

Game is definitely more varied now, but simplicity is good too.

How was playing with desync fun times how was spamming 20 different trade channels every 10 mins fun at all

Not really.. poe.xyz came out some point in the beta, before that I just barely traded. The trade channels have always been utterly useless and full of people hoping for a payday from an idiot overpaying 99.99% of the time.

I remember my mate getting a free achieve off me during Betrayal by clapping me during "bandit camp". We didn't even know that was a thing until later, when we were going over our cheevos at end of league.
