Less duration interaction with Holy relic

Summon Holy Relic has Duration listed as a "minion type" - it's in the secondary list of skill types describing what minions created by that skill can do, as opposed to what the skill itself does.
It doesn't the have Duration type on poedb.

"Triggerable, Mineable, Minion, MinionsCanExplode, Multicastable, Spell, Totemable, Trappable, CreatesMinion, Cooldown" is what's listed for Summon Holy Relic.

Chaos Golem is also untyped for Duration there, although it's still supportable to at least some extent. "Triggerable, Chaos, Mineable, Minion, MinionsCanExplode, Multicastable, Spell, Totemable, Trappable, Golem, CreatesMinion, Cooldown" is what it has going on.

Temporary minions, on the other hand, are definitely Typed for Duration there.

"Attack, Minion, Duration, MinionsCanExplode, MeleeSingleTarget, Multistrikeable, Melee, CreatesMinion" is what's listed for Dominating Blow, for example.

The only mention of duration anywhere for any portion of Holy Relic on poedb, from the Gem, to the "monster", to the nova skill it uses, is the duration of the regen buff in its RelicTriggeredNova skill data.

So, is there a discrepancy between what is available from the client data via mining and what you have available to you on your end? Something sure doesn't seem to be adding up properly here.

I understood it like this: Skills that summon minions has additional (hidden) tags based on what tags the minion skills the minion it can create has.

So because a skill holy relic has, has a duration tag, the minion skill that summons it can be supported with less duration support.

Another example of this could be animated weapon which can iirc be supported by vicious projectiles even if the skill the minion uses is a melee attack. This is because the skill "animated weapon" can summon a ranged version of a animated weapon and therefor has the tags for projectile attacks.

Poedb does not fully tell the truth. In the above case you can go to poedb and see that the melee skill Animated weapon uses has the projectile tag. If you then go to summon raging spirit it also has the projectile tag but is not supported by vicious projectiles. This is because there is no minion summon raging spirits summons that has a projectile attack.

Good rule of thumb could be to see if the minion skill in game is supported by a support. Then assume that each relevant line of a support applies to the minions skills. For example the "more chaos damage over time" applies to the melee attack of AW but the "less projectile attack speed" does not.

Hopefully my tangent on vicious projectiles is not wrong. Not actually tested damage but works in pob and supports AW in game.

They are no more hidden than the regular types of the skill - neither are exposed in-game.

The community not working out how to interpret some of the datamined information yet doesn't indicate that it isn't there and used by the game. Community datamining cannot be relied on to be complete, nor 100% accurate (the raw data can be misinterpreted).
