Should drinking potions while frozen and gating in a boss fight be removed in higher difficulties?

So I was watching a stream of a beta tester playing on the highest difficulty and he was able to defeat a pretty nasty boss because even though he got frozen a bunch of times all he did was drink potions the entire time he was frozen.

Personally I think on the hardest difficulty you should not be able to drink potions while frozen.

Another thing I saw is when things got dicey he just gated out and as soon as he stepped out of the gate he was fully healed and his mana was fully restored and he stepped back into the fight with him fully restored while the boss was still damaged.

Personally I think on the hardest difficulty the Boss should get fully restored as the player does if the player steps though a gate or maybe bosses can even close gates or prevent players from gating.
*EDIT* If the player is in a group the no gate rule can apply or if they gate out(flee) that can't re-enter till the Boss is dead.

Lastly, is there a timer on potion drinking? If there is not there should be on the hardest difficulty.

Let the hardest difficulty mean something and where the big boys play not anybody who can just exploit and game the system.

So what happens when you get frozen with like a quarter of your health left? You basically know you're dead so what's the point in waiting to die? You can't heal so you just have to stand there and watch.
If you don't want to risk death play at a lower difficulty.

They need remove that.

Pot while on stun is a little ridiculous.

Pot for bosses and raids is cool, but we need see HEaler class first.

I really hope theirs no healer class tbh... There is always a lack of them in games like wow and i think games like this aren't really suited for it. Everyone wants to kill kill kill, not heal heal heal.
I'm not totally against using potions while frozen if getting forzen while at full heath equals a death sentence. Maybe you heal less or you use potions slowly.

I just don't want winning tough boss fight to depend on how many potions you have or on how qiucky you can drink them.

retarded ass idea, those mechanics shouldnt be messed with. You're basically saying the more frustrating = the more difficult.
The gate thing is the biggest problem in my opinion.

When your frozen, you're frozen dude ;)
What's the point in having abilities that freezes if players aren't disabled ?
Otherwise, replace freeze by a net....

No Bordam, I'm saying that on the HIGHEST difficulty cheese tactics should be removed

Another sign that "Hardcore" is not really 'hardcore' at all..

It is standard with perma-death... yippie...

They need to do the following:
1)Standard - Default
2)Standard w/ Permadeath - die in here, get sent to default
3)Hardcore - increased challenge but w/o perma death
4)Hardcore w/ Permadeath - die in here, get sent back to regular hardcore

So the leagues branch off like...
Standard<=Standard PermaDeath
Harcore<=Harcore PermaDeath

This way, standard and harcore are actually two different difficulties, and each has a permenant child that is there for the permadeath lovers.
