Yeah it doesn't function for 1h builds anymore which is a bit of a loss, but pretending that a 1 socket one would be better is idiotic once it lost supported by level 25 ele pen. You can usually get a 6l helmet or gloves going for a build with some investment too but its clearly been setup as an item for 2h users.

Idea is 2 socket good, 3 socket better.

Any build that used it previously can be made superior with the same item and some flexible thinking, its bonuses for stacking are vastly higher than previous afterall.

You guys should be used to builds getting permanently trashed by now too they do it all the time -_- especially when they rework items. I think its pretty silly tbh I just think the scale of this response is overboard for how common this is and how much better shroud is post change for a majority of builds tbh.

They should write the patch notes right regardless but they love to obfuscate information too, I suspect this one was just an oversight but its always better to overstate. "1 socket no longer drops" would hardly break the notes.

As for the MTX, they reworked the items and sold MTX for them. If you buy the MTX with a specific build in mind, despite them saying they reworked the items, only to find out they no longer work for the build you had in mind then you are the only one to blame here. Don't buy MTX unless you are absolutely sure you can actually use them, or better yet, don't buy freaking supporter packs right when they are released. Check if the league is actually worth supporting first.

Make a new build that can utilize the reworked items or use an old shroud in standard to make your build there, it's not like there is no way to use those MTX, you just have to adapt a little.
