I've got a theory -- GGG is trying to get rid of most of us.
" Is it really burnt out when Id be willing to pay for a 3.13 - 3.15 patch offline version of the game? We still like PoE we just HATE the direction PoE's leadership is taking this game. |

" Move along with the time and don't droll over content of the past. classic server or offline versions will never be a thing lol. It's just hard for GGG to make things alright to everyone. catering every type of players need is not an easy job after all. Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

" I agree with your assement, but I'd be VERY interested in an offline version of the game. Not that I don't enjoy the current, but there's always a itch in the back of my brian after far too many niche MMOs or games I played a ton like Hellgate that closed up, and now just don't exist. |

" This. Its not being burnt out. Its being disappointed. Chris wants a game for streamers and racers. Accidentally he made, patches ago, a great game for everyone else. There is nothin incorrect, dishonest, or toxic about being disappointed that this is the case. |

GGG has become so sensitive. once D4 comes out, POE will not be touched.
"fuck around and find out"

" There is no POE 2, it's just the worthless story campaign they are making. nobody likes or cares about the story campaign. They have said repetatively that when POE 2 launches the ONLY difference will be the story campaign and links are gone... The game is being morphed into poe 2 in real time. That's how we all know POE 2 is gonna be an absolute SLOG. they are designing this to make the POE story about the worst thing ever designed by human |

I enjoy the story campaign. Moving on to maps always feels... Tacked on, and kinda bland. ='[.]'=

" What changes have been made for streamers and racers? How does the atlas passive tree fit into this equation? A new player with just T10 map completion can spec into essence, harvest, and expedition and net 15c to 20c /map JUST from those mechanics in alch and go mapping. 10 to 20 maps of that and they can fund a build that clears the rest of the atlas and entry level bosses (and that's assuming they even need to - plenty of builds get posted every league that clear the whole atlas on a ridiculous budget from seismic traps to TR champion, to tons of stuff the farther back we want to go). What CAN'T a non-streamer, non-racer player do today that they used to be able to do? Because I can think of a lot of things that have opened up to them. Idk I’m having a good time overall, like the game currently much more compared to years ago, think it’s much more friendly to average player than it used to be. D4 was/is a disappointment even with low expectations.
Hope poe2 has better visuals and less micro-management, especially the tedious management of billions of items including hundreds of trades is pretty annoying tbh. Automate trades from stash tabs would be #1 on my wishlist I guess |

" I ‘ll explain. I want a game that doesn’t try to make me into a peasant farmer so I can buy my items. I want to kill monsters, loot meaningful items and be able to improve those items myself. That is my joy. 3.13 gave some of that - I had a goal and with enough chances (and a sit ton of luck), I could improve my gear. I don’t want to farm shit, to sell shit, to raise coins to buy shit. That cycle kills the genre of ARPGs for me. |
