Ever-Extending Evolution bug

Is this still bugged? :S

Terribly designed challenge.
Unable to get the downgrade one after many tries, where i got my mods to downgrade but no completion, and have no clue why.
I'll probably keep my 39/40, this one is way too dumb and uninteresting to bother trying it anymore.

Still broken. Got a down-grade on a claw that was fully specced into what I wanted and still didn't get the challenge completion message.

this challenge took me like 3 tries, I don't think there's a bug. can you guys record a vid?
