FIX THE SUDDEN SHUT DOWNS!!!!!!!!!!

Well i have the same issue and its a shame realy because i love this game,
anyway... im a nvidia user, had this pc about 3 years and no issues up till now.

Played POE very early in the closed beta and had these issues (altho allot less)
Now in open beta i try to play from time to time but its just too random,
sometimes i can play 4 hours, sometimes it crashes every 30mins.
I just had to stop because allot of files on my pc where going corrupt =(

I monitored these issues and my temprature and voltages and that are ok,
i did however try turning off nvidia's powermizer (this changes voltages depending on load)
this did not work, i tried messing allot with settings (vsync, windowed mode, low resolution)
still nothing.

So i just played a few other high load games this week and have not had the issue anymore,
did this just to make sure its POE

Here is what a program called ''Whocrashed'' indicates as the reason for the crash,
seeing i get no BSOD but just a PC reboot into a black screen.

VIDEO_TDR_ERROR - 0x116 - Problem caused by: nvlddmkm.sys

I realy hope it gets fixed soon, i considered getting a new PC...
but yeah i run POE and other games very smoothly and who is to say i do not have,
the same issue again on my new PC =s

Might be good to note i reinstalled my pc completely inbetween closed/open beta,
so i just realy doubt its a driver or program issue

So I downclocked to 500 mhz and crashed ONLY once today!!! ima try 450 mhz and see if that solves it for good. On the bright side I 5l my taryn's shiver today :D

I was just about to say it was driver related, and i'm still going to say it...after searching about the problem seems to only indicate it to be a driver problem...with other games(not just PoE) effected.
other potability is that the HDD is starting to go...you could try the steps detailed below
