Minion + poison builds feel like 1/5th to 1/10th of their "actual" DPS which is why they are so maligned. They feel awful to play so it's hard to ever call them "good" even if you hit the DoT cap in 10 seconds.

What is the DoT Cap ?

i'll give you a hint..

Poison is a cumulatively stacking debuff. Each application—or 'stack'—of poison remains present on the target dealing chaos damage over time until it runs its course.[2] There is no limit to the number of poison stacks a target can have.[1] A single "hit" can apply a maximum of one poison stack, therefore having more than 100% chance to poison is redundant.(3)

Any dot dmg source is still capped at about 36 million dps max.

As far as poison builds are concerned, it obviously takes a few seconds to reach enough poison stacks and consequently reach the cap. Until then, your build wont be dealing anywhere near that dmg.

I have 49 minions in my build. - How fast do you think i'm getting max poison damage ?

Plus there is no cap because you can never reach max poison damage on uber pinnacle bosses. well.. i'm wrong. I just never have been able to do it in PoB

It’s just as you say: people should have the right to choose. That includes choosing not to publish your work on their websites.

no one cares what you have on your wall, car winshield, TV, or on you.

You might want to take another look at the 1st Amendment with special focus on what it protects and who it protects you against.

Your right to post on Reddit is not protected by the 1st Amendment.

Lol 8 pages for this?

Even if the moderator at the subreddit was "wrong", there is no doubt they can do whatever basically they want. This is not a "rights" issue, which doesnt apply in this context, nor is there any guarantee on your ability to participate in the community if they deem you are not following their internal rules or guidelines. Your opinion on that isnt relevant, and what you believe you did in terms of compliance doesnt matter. They have the ultimate say. You can be mad, that's fine, but that's about all you can do.

Also coming here and posting, doesnt help you. Granted its amusing, and mildly entertaining once I realized this was an actual serious.

all you had to do was interact with he community there. they just wanted you to make 10 posts interacting with the community outside of your own self promotion, would have taken you 10 minutes to do it.

you couldnt even be bothered to do that. this is your effort level for this 'job'?

you could have just opened up some threads, congratulated a few people on their crafts, agreed with a few people who were making smart observations. you dont care about the community obviously, you just want to use it as a platform to promote yourself, but if you put even the smallest amount of thought into it you could have faked caring about the community for 5 minutes each day to secure access to promote yourself to that community.

and you think theres somehow 500,000 viewers you are entitled to, that are being stolen from you somehow?

instead you are here complaining about the mods there and openly advertising the fact you only wanted to use that platform to promote what you see as your job, your personal financial gain, which is exactly what they are telling you they have created these rules to prevent. theyre gonna look at this thread and think yeah, this is exactly the sort of activity we made these rules to prevent.

theyre guidelines, not always to be followed, they have flexibility so that they dont HAVE to ban someone who messes up, the point of having guidelines is that the system has room to punish the sort of behaviour they are designed to prevent and isnt so rigid that it needless harms others. they want the subreddit to be about the poe community having a space to communicate, not setting up a free advertising space for individuals to make money from the community.

youre here complaining about viewers for your job... youre self snitchin m8
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

There isn't a lot of things on GD at the moment that are worth engaging further with. This one is at least funny.

I've tried to follow the rules countless times. They keep coming up with ways to ban me. I've tried everything.
