Pretty tough choice to make! I am very split in the middle, especially as I have a feeling that the core gameplay will improve itself the next league anyways as well. - Loot matters more but you grind maps that are unchallenging. - Fights are more interesting but no movement skills. - Build decisions matter more but less gem & regret availability. - Maps progression is more meaningful but campaign is even slower. - Uniques matter again but melee is even worse. " It's a different game, not just harder. It's kind of how Leagues, Hardcore and SSF are all essentially harder game modes from the Standard but the obstacles are all different. I say already the fact that league content doesn't drop from random rewards changes the dynamics enough to be interesting. It will be very interesting to see what the folks that really push challenges every league do, since Ruthless wont count.

No. It's too boring IMO without new league mechanics. 3.21 maybe when it works with fresh leagues.

Definite pass for me, might do a SC ruthless as a time waster towards the end of the league though to see how fun it is.
Can't really see the point of HC Ruthless ironically so will avoid that either way. |
