Golem jewels in 3.20

My bet is on these moving to the respective Delve node. As long as they aren't as rare as Grand Spectrum it'll be fine.

Really hope it's not Delve related.
I've given more thought to Delve as a possible source, particularly the idea of jewel splinters dropping from golem nodes.

It occured to me that splinters corresponding to each jewel—Eminence, Harmony and Might—need not drop at the same depth.

Example:

White splinters (Eminence) - Depth 1+
Blue splinters (Harmony) - Depth 10+
Red splinters (Might) - Depth 30+

To a certain extent, this would preserve the weight of rarity within the Primordial jewel pool, especially if Red splinters drop in a lesser amount.

Ehhh splinters always lead to more deterministic loot, and they really seem to want to have every jewel be good AND rare, adding splinters will mean they'll be near worthless pretty soon, UNLESS they're stupid rare which I don't see them going that extreme. I also doubt they'll put in the work to add new artwork / items in terms of splinters.

Right, remember though, Primordial Jewels are listed as an exception within the jewel manifesto. They were singled out.

GGG made a clear distinction between Unique Jewels that drop (very rare), and Unique Jewels that don't drop (deterministic, and not yet stated as being very rare). Primordial jewels are confirmed to be the latter.

What we know for absolute certain is that Primordial Jewels will no longer drop. No mob or boss will drop them; we will not see Primordial Jewels on the ground.

Nor from any vendor recipe.

So what are we left with? Quest rewards (very unlikely), another div card/s, or splinters. And if it's another div card/s, it's going to require new artwork regardless.

I know they said they'll simply "no longer drop", but I'm wondering if they just meant in the core drop pool. Because if it's just moved to 'dropping splinters', it's kinda just the same thing no?

Corruption is another outcome. As is the sacrifice chamber in the temple. Maybe it's from a beast recipe.
My guess is that they drop from kitava with a 2% chance. 2.5% if you have no weapons equipped and less than 500 life.
Maybe from the golems that can spawn after killing some essence monsters? They always felt kind of pointless to me.
Following today's 3.20 announcement, Bestiary seems to be the front-running prospect. This is unfortunate because the new targetted recipes seem to be locked behind maps.

We could be looking at a pretty scarce market for the first week or two.
Currently, there is only one Primordial Jewel listed on trade. It's a Might jewel. I reached out to the seller and they said they got it from a The Void card.

It would seem that the new source still eludes us. The search continues...
A quick note before bed. I did a fair amount of delving today, targeting golem nodes (Restless Rubble) at various depths. I turned up nothing, so I'd suggest looking in other places for now.
