Mayhem sucks
Died about 20 times while trying to get past second area which had main on hit + crit + invastion bosses. Lol. Was slowed and stunlocked to death over and over again. Further areas were far more playable.

The 2 extra mods fucking sucks. Archnemesis mods are shit enough as it is.

Its pretty bad actually. The additional 2 monster mods are just a dealbreaker for me. I initially just started to play mayhem for fun, but its just way too annoying if you dont play a meta skil. I usually play events for a few days but now i am done already. I am getting more and more sad over this game, even after 12k+ hours.

Lets be honest, if it wasn't for the 2 mods it would have been too damn easy. It is still easy even with them but not too much

" This. Mayhem is objectively easier than normal Path of Exile challenge league play, because the level of gearing and exp is so high. We had people bringing down pinnacle bosses in the first 5 hours of Mayhem, far ahead of the pace set by the 3.19 launch. You can run maps white and still easily sustain them, so those random extra mods are meaningless. I guess it WOULD be harder if your build was garbage and you decided not to get gear for it, but... why would anyone do that? My second Mayhem build left the Twilight Strand with a 4L and 10% boots. |

Beyond monsters are overtuned and hinder is totally annoying, especially at game start. The extra dmg mods are bad. Teams have a great advantage.

I think the mods were added to keep no lifer's from getting to 100 in a single session, and its working at least in ssfhc. That is a good thing I feel. Still a bit too overtuned for early campaign in my opinion.

Struggled for the first few zones of Act 1, but as always happens with this kind of addition, you get overleveled really quick and then the bonuses are irrelevant. It will probably become harder in maps at some point, but I don’t have time for that in this event anyway.
