League mechanic isn't even working properly

its completely in line with the
"we want everything to be hardmode" mindset theyre pushing. which, in turn, is pushing me away. mobs with 30% damage reduction and +2 projectiles in act1 isnt really my thing. or 200% increased crit chance and 40% phys as extra ele. maybe ill come back when 3.20 launches. maybe. |

No imagination lol this league most left and if we could see the charts, i imagine that not much people are playing the events, 3.20 will be the same shot so far... God touching goblins etc,,, Company of millions and this is what they came up hehe |

The coast from level 2 was pretty rough at first but once i got some gear it was pretty easy, Just gotta try to spec into some early power be it dps or survival, try your best to pick up good equipment and use your crafting currency wisely.
Those orbs of binding are OP and the harbingers give so much early access to them. I'd like to see something like this return in the future perhaps with some zone-themed modifiers to rev up the immersion a bit while also adding that "pop" we expect from an event. Innocence forgives you

Whoever designed this event clearly didn't spend much time thinking about how this would affect the first zones in the acts.
My experience so far: 1. Twilight Strand has tormented spirits: Hillock gets buffed and his movement and attack speed makes it impossible to outrun him or dodge his attack. RIP. 2. This time there are no ghosts near Hillock so it's OK. Coast also has torment, so now I'm running away from possessed Fire Fury and her touched mobs. Make it to Tidal Island, whic has strongboxes. Good news, I can gear up here. Make it all the way to Ledge with Harbingers. RIP. 3. Twilight Strand still has torment, but only one ghost possessed Hillock so it's doable. Coast has beyond but nothing happens. Tidal Island has 20 invasion bosses, which basically means 2-3 spawn right at the entrance. RIP after several attempts. If you're unlucky you get really stuck. There is no way I can make it through Tidal Island with 20 invasion bosses. Maybe without the damage mods. But because of the nature of the event Tidal Island is now infested with invasion for an *entire hour*. GGG make it very hard to believe that this was anything but a "wouldn't it be cool if" idea and didn't think it through any firther. This is an exercise in frustration and I am not sure I will try another attempt. All the Gauntlets I've played were hard, but the enjoyable kind of hard. The kind of hard you know you can eventually overcome if you try hard enough. But this? This is ridiculous. It shows that Ziz has a better understanding of what it actually means to make the game more challenging in a good way. |

lol complaining about possessed bosses when I had to deal with 20 invasion bosses from level 2. Just suck it up, it gets much better with levels.

I sucked it up for about an hour, realized I wasn't enjoying, turned off the game and haven't been back since. Why should I struggle to "enjoy" a game? Challenge is fine, challenge can be fun. But this isn't challenge: its either you are OP or you are dead. No real middle ground struggle anymore. I can engage a hard monster, run away, but because no flasks I can't heal so #logout. I enter an area, surrounded by exiles spamming skills all over the place, chilling and freezing and burning me every which way to the point where I can't move OR attack = #logout. Yes it gets "fun" when you can ignore all of that and just pick up the loot, but then even that "fun" will get just as stale as the league did. |
