does ggg do anything if you got trade scammed?

In Iracing if you protest another driver and the protest is upheld you will get notification that action was taken. It would be easy to set up a notification system. But it also kinda shines a light on how bad their reporting system is. It has nothing to do with privacy btw. Its neglect.

You cannot "get trade scammed" in this game, you can only allow yourself to be scammed.

GGG has given you complete control over what you trade for. You cannot trade without actively accepting what's in the trade window at the time you click the accept button.

As far as GGG is concerned, you accepted the trade. The burden is on you to ensure it's what you wanted. GGG is not your babysitter.

Never rush when trading, always read the item carefully before pressing accept

This is all due to GGG failing to update a trade system that would have been outdated in 1998, much less 2022.

All the scams, the no-response messages, the wasted time, all intentionally to annoy you so that you dont use trade too much.

All of this on the trade system Chris promised to improve years ago, but then never touched.

Ridiculous levels of not being accountable.


I realize Im being pretty negative here but I would rank this up there with Blizzards monetization of gaming in terms of bad policy that drives away players.

I'd go further and say Id be happy to pay $15 a month for basic QoL features in a game.

Pay it forward by scamming in future trades. E.g. trade with many stacks of currency and include some 1-stacks instead of 10-stacks. If it works, you're winning the game. /s

On a different note, it would be funny if proven scammer accounts were put in SSF-only "prison" with no option to migrate back to trade.

They use these forums too. So it's common to get those replies. Just ignore them. They aren't worth your time.
