How do I approach the vision? I'm playing a lot more...last epoch.

Personally, I would not play the game as I normally do. At all. Things are very different now. That's why OP's question is a good topic. :)

I left last league and wanted to come back this league. Now I just deleted everything and only kept reddit and this forum to watch the drama unfold. I'm not planing to come back. Why the heck would I play a game that doesn't respect the time I've invested in it.

My aproach is playing Diablo II until changes are reverted

Picking up a new game today. Fatal Frame 3, Evil Within 1 or Rune Factory 5 (not sure yet). Will still play a bit of PoE while the new game clicks, then take a break till next league - that's my usual cycle to avoid burn-out after playing the league for ~2 months. Only now it will be 1 week instead of ~2 months.

And at this point I'm not even sure there will be next league for me if Chris will keep force-feeding us his 'vision' which he has been doing for several leagues now - since Expedition.

Shiny hunting on pokemon, that's pretty hardcore. I remember doing that in generation3. Think it got buffed though so you have much better methods of getting them nowadays though.

D3 actually is a pretty good game. The problem is the lack of content and things to do. The strength of PoE is the depth and variability. D3 is very fun, but if you're a powergamer you're done with the game in a 1 week usually. If you want to go hardcore in D3 it gets boring extremely fast cause it's like doing the same farming strategy in PoE throughout the entire game.

I haven't played D3 in several years though, will be interesting to see how it's changed. Only thing to happen to D3 are meta changes, the actual content is the same which is a shame. It's basically just rifts. If you've never played D3 though, I think it could be fun. I remember having alot of fun the first time they released Kanaiz cube and rifts.
