So, how do you guys approach the new vision?
Ok, so there is a whole like book you could write on this actually, but I think I'll just say watching Ben the other day, he didn't care 1 bit about the drop rates because all he does is run safe white or blue maps right? How does this guy, probably the best player in the world, beat all Ubers in less than a week, without juicing one map? He knows that you don't really need that many drops to get your bossing gear. He starts out by speccing into harvest, essences, and of course some aaaisling (still op). All his resources go into 2 sets of gear, mapping and bossing sets, and both are very tanky, of course for survival, and not so much dps, but these are well crafted, he knows how to craft for sure. I might be missing something. He's pretty amazing. But if you see what I'm getting at it isn't hard to gear up in this game you don't need drops. I think he got like a lucky Watcher's Eye? But he zooms through maps so fast, he doesn't stop to even see if mobs die, most of the time I think he listens for the drop sounds because he's so fast he's not stopping, map after map, to the boss, get in the next one.
At one point he peeled off to heist for like 6 hours, to get currency. So THAT is probably what everyone should do if they just want to beat the game. Last edited by Soulsucka#5124 on Aug 26, 2022, 6:59:42 AM

" Hey thanks for the advice, but my goal is not to beat the game, my goal is to get as much currency as possible, so a ssfhc players approach from a racing perspective is something that i absolutley not care for. and @gonecharov92 please stop advertising for cheats or illegal software, i think some mod should delete his comment he is suggesting that i should get an illegal software to get an unfair adventage ingame. |

by laughing a lot. especially at chris, as he gaslights, lies and tries to extinguish the rage with pr speech.
i also laugh at people like neversink and their slave mentality, which is one of the reason they get lied to and treated like the worms they are in the first place. it's a huge dumpster fire, and i thoroughly enjoy it. |

You mean like pure drops of currency? I'd watch Grimro's videos, that's the only guy right now who is gonna share his secrets I think.
If you are willing to try crafting, that can be the best money in the game, like watch a video of how to make some tailwind/elusive boots those are fairly simple to make, or if that seems strange make some items for your build and sell the bad ones. If you don't want to craft, at the end of the day, no matter what you do, you're going to have to get lucky, right? RNG is all there is out there in the vision. That's why bossing is what most people do, bosses have fairly good rates, you can get the crafting orbs, sell those, sell the frags, etc. |

Since 80% of mobs are now as worthless as gum on the sidewalk I am now beckoned by the meta to either ignore or block out mechanics which rely on mobs for loot drops, already this removes a great portion of the past leagues from consideration and further deliberation leaves me with but three: Heist, Expedition (supposedly, if the logbook bosses are still even comparable in how much expedition currency they drop), and Ritual.
I plan on trying out Blight at some point but I'm not holding my breath after how unrelentingly difficult but mostly frustrating Archnemesis mobs made it last league. In the end I still hope that item drops get reverted, because I know in my heart there's no world in which GGG goes back and reworks all the old league mechanics to make them rewarding to engage with in this new era of chest supremacy or removes them to reduce the problem of a now overwhelming number of time wasters. That'd simply be too much genuine effort on their part for the former or player consideration for the latter. |

Yeah blight; for me at the end of last league, it wasn't too bad, fairly casual, and the chests are probably still fine. I'd do some blight for currency.

I don't.

" Hey finally someone with real advice thanks. I am very well informed on how to do endgame crafts, but i think crafting is in a very bad state at the moment so im skipping it this league. I used to make alot of money with crafting, but without harvest being a viable option i do not really like it anymore. Most of the leagues i either drop a mirror or a mirror tier item like hh, mb by forcing my luck with very juiced maps, but this does not work anymore it seems so im kinda in a oneway here. I dont enjoy grimro because i think his videos are not good, and besides i think he is not that big of a fish in path compared to snap for example or poedan79 etc.. there is simply nothing to learn for me that i dont know already in grims content. guess im going to really run around with a oldschool like uberlab runner in maps looking for that 1 rare mob while ignoring all the other content. |

Lab could be real good this league too. Like I said there is a whole book on how to make currency in POE right? The loot changes turned out to be very specific, they left a lot of things completely unchanged, or maybe even better now, I don't know, I just think like don't juice your maps is the main thing, sell the scarabs, do the lab, the blight, the heist, the expedtions, etc.
BUT, yeah I don't really know this is all pretty new, someone else might be dropping apothecaries like crazy in Crimson Temple since the last update and if they were, they wouldn't be telling us Last edited by Soulsucka#5124 on Aug 26, 2022, 7:38:04 AM

Just play the game as normaly :) Maybe try out more Heist content since I never gave it a fair shot. Maybe try out some new builds to test how they fair against the new rare mobs.
