banned for good or just for the league?
Look I'm just going to put it this way. This league has not ran the smoothest and the problems are still ongoing. In my option GGG and Chris should be bigger than to ban someone for making a comment that they didn't like. It's just going to pour fuel on a fire that's been burning this week in the game and split the community even more than it already is with the stat of the game. Which GGG doesn't need right now. Whether you like PoM or not he is entitled to voice his options as long as he doesn't do it in game or in the game forums.

You can tell a cop to "F" off with his bald head they can't do anything legally but take it. Why should a game operator be able to ban a person for making a rude comment out of frustration no matter how stupid it was. When it wasn't done inside of their intellectual property. Banning PoM over a comment that no one would have remembered five minutes later was not their best move. Now GGG has made it a issue that will in the end cause some player to quit the game and in turn GGG is going to lose money in the long run.

In my opinion GGG should have just laughed it off and been the bigger man and done nothing. We know streamer say some stupid things sometimes because they don't agree with how things are going in whatever game they are playing. Just a EX. Asmongold has said things about Wow and their Devs that you think would have gotten him banned from WoW many time over if you think banning PoM was the right decision by GGG what's the difference? But they don't because they know if they ban him a lot of people are going to quit because of it and in the long run it's they are just stupid comments. Remember in the long run PoM is a customer not a employee or GGG.

I honestly hope they unban him just because I feel like it a stupid situation that got way out of hand because someone got their feeling hurt. Think if it was you and a comment took something away from you that you put many many hours of time into learning everything you could over a few words.

Hope everyone has a great day/night lets focus on getting the league fixed and having some fun remember at the end of the day it's just a game that should be enjoyed not taken so seriously.

GGG do the right thing unban the man and PoM even though I don't think you should have gotten banned for what you said if you hadn't have said it you wouldn't be banned learn from this mistake and be better next time.

And try and die less than Ziziran. (That should be easy) lol jk
Free for Path of matth!
Doesn't affect me in any meaningful way, but I am a little surprised at how thin Chris's skin is. Haha. Just being honest.

When I first heard what happened, I read PoM "threatened" Chris. I was taken back, but then when i watched the clips, I was thinking...."is that it?"

Chris, you gotta thicken that skin my man. lol

Because they can.
And it is Chris Wilson.
There is different consequences for insulting people more "equal" than others.

Some people have say worse things on this forum and gotten away with it. Sometimes ignored because it isn't directed at important people.
If you have your Twitch account linked to your POE account and chat in the big streams like Quin69 and Mathil I would be very careful what you type. Even if it's a pure joke or passing comment.

Quin does un-ban streams and you can see what people have typed since you first made an account on Twitch. Everything.

Could even get to the point mods in streams could report you and get your account banned.

Keep an eye on your social score.....
It's really quite simple, say whether you like or dislike something, provide your justification and critique things reasonably, but don't throw insults of a personal nature.

Rule number 1 in life: Don't be a dick.

Said streamer could have made their point quite well enough without resorting to comments of a personal nature. It's unnecessary and toxic. As a company, why would GGG continue to extend their product to someone like that? It doesn't matter where it was said, only that it was said.

Too often people seem to want to insist upon their "rights" but nobody wants to honour the rights of others or fulfil their obligations toward a civil society.
This time GGG have right.

This is very well said, no one would argue this. You'll be happy to know that he already apologized and said he will take the league off to think about his actions.

Meanwhile, this whole thread is just more drama, doesn't add up to 2 cents, much less 10. Game is still shambled.
