Depending on the league, the staff is usually available for 1-2c within 2-3 hours after the servers open. For that reason I don't race through the acts. I take my time looking at the new league mechanic. In most of the recent leagues that's actually been quite rewarding. Finding a Tabula in Act 1 or 2 because you took time to play with the new thing can save you quite a lot of time on day 1.

In a typical league, by the time I get to level 33, I'm about to hit Dominus and I have the staff already. Sometimes, if I'm not lucky, it comes in Act 4. But I've never had to go beyond Kaom/Daresso before acquiring it.

And if you are not starting this build on Day 1 then it's completely trivial later on. You'll find a ton of staves (or The Incantation cards) for sale cheap.

Can you craft a Sadists Garb similar to the Vaal Regalia? I'm still not great at crafting in this game, sorry if thats a dumb question.

An example of a good (but not perfect) Sadist Garb is in the Full Build PoB. I've updated it.

Harvest jewel implicits is gone, so are reforge keep prefix/suffix.

It's going to be REALLY hard to get stun immunity on jewels now.

yep so it's gona be pain to get stun immune...2 clusters + watcher + emp wit/mast its 15% each if lucky + 1-2 25% brute/fertile....and now only corrupting brute/fertile meh...

and crafting amulet now really gona be hard without keep suff :/

Just want to say, I tried the Scion version of this build last league and loved it. Far and away my favorite build.

Curious though, does the Shadow version have a good answer for stun immunity, or do we need to itemize for it similar to the Occultist build?

1. Just have to take the Tolerance cluster if we really need stun immunity (or live with the Brine King.)

2. Don't forget, we may be able to double the affixes on, say, 14% & 1% dam per 15 int amulets. I'm looking forward to that...
