Divines are not the new exalt
|
Divines are not the new exalt. Exalt generally hover around 100-180 chaos in leagues with its limited uses except as currency for high end trade and as stored value. Divines takes over that and with its high uses in divines esp in uniques and now metamod, its value to chaos will not be 100-180ch. It will be more like 300-400ch per divine. You practically cannot get divine easily.
Uniques dropped will have a lot more price range as people no longer will be able to divine its stats easily. Get Omni with lousy stats, they just sell it. Get Ashes with lousy stats, just sell it. So now you have a wide range of prices for Uniques based on its stats. Forbidden Shako? No one will bother divining them. Fusing on the other hand will drop in price a lot. 6-linked goes into fusing and most 6-linked will be worth 3-4c. Many will just buy a 6-link off market than use fusing. Market will be flushed with fusing that it will not be 5fuse=1c. It will more likely 10 fuse = 1c now. Guess this is the new market. 1 Ex will worth no more than 10c. |

Imagine guys how pathetic it now sounds "The Saint's Treasure" card as for 1c-item :D or "Alluring Bounty"
To be honest, they have ruined a big part of the game with this change which was not required at all. The ballance between exas and divines was just fine atm. Divines were good for rerolling - they were supposed to be used more because you need more attempts to get your items stats to desired values rather than slamming 2-3 times per season with exas. PoE1 nowadays looks more and more like a fan-made fork server with tons of custom weird experimental stuff rather than original game with carefully thought out balance brough live to players. --------------------------------------------------- RiP PoE2 [December 9, 2024 - August 29, 2025] Last edited by judikator#2053 on Aug 13, 2022, 4:42:12 AM

" 1c? You think you will get 2 exalts for 10c? Bruh... |
|
" Dont want to burst anyone bubble but it is a possibility exalt will be worth 5c. It does not have any economical uses now and Divine will be the one for stored value ( exchanging chaos to divine ). |
|
" It will probably not. Maybe closer to 15-20 or even more. I checked announcement video again and in the part when Chris talks about changing metamods crafting currency you can see that other benchcrafts that required 1/2 exalted orb (like top tier spell damage craft, or attack speed, or phys damage, or +2 support gems) still depend on Exalts, so people will use exalts to benchcraft top tier mods on items more frequently while previously they would save those exalted orbs instead because they were valuable. This gives access to these top tier benchcrafts for more people. Last edited by alex_disp#4958 on Aug 13, 2022, 8:29:02 AM

" 1с or 5c it doesn't matter. What matters is that fun and staisfaction out of getting The Saint's Treasure, Abandoned Wealth or Brother's Stash cards is lost. And that alone makes the game not so fun for me. The whole this change looks more like a last-day request from PO into the release build rather than a thoroughly planned story. Worst change ever...
And yes...no one will ex slam things...People who already did that were never people who couldn't afford to have many ex. So with this change divine are even rarer than exalts and will be more expensive. Never invite Vorana, Last To Fall at a beer party.

Indeed.
If Chris is so hell bent on forcing people to yank that one-armed-bandit and pray they should make exalt slamming MUCH more impactful. Such as flat out removing certain mods from the available pool (i.e. nothing possible that is 10 levels below the iLvL of the item being crafted upon or... heck... just opens a window with five options and allow the player to choose one). Honestly... just because exalts are worthless now in any regard *other* than slamming does NOT mean players are going to use them that way. They're just going to become the intermediary de-bulking currency for trades. So, rather than slamming down 30 stacks of chaos for a single divine, they'll drop two stacks of exalts. That's all exalts are good for anymore because Chris, in his infinite and utter lack of wisdom, took away **ALL** of the exalt crafting - entirely. Rather than just a few super high end ones. Which was stupid. " Ah, okay, I stand corrected. Exalts will still have their place, only MUCH reduced. Some value will be retained... just not nearly as much. Patch Notes 3.15: Fixed a bug where players believed the game was playable. This has been corrected and made retroactive. Patch Notes 3.19: Fixed a bug where players adapted to 3.15. This bug cannot be corrected, so we have implemented a 90% reduction in item access as a punishment. Last edited by BlaqWolf#1151 on Aug 13, 2022, 10:07:47 AM
