Divines are not the new exalt

They might as well revert the Ashes droprate nerf since you need good rolls on it.

So on the one hand people are saying exalts will be worth nothing and at the same time that noone will use them to slam. I would exalt slam quite a lot if they were as cheapa s some people are suggesting

" Only few folks say no one gonna use exlats to slam. No point in listening to them. People were already slamming jewels while exalts was 170c. You must be *special* to think people wont slam more ofthen when exalt is 30c. |

" Nonono, you got it all wrong. People will slam. But they aren't going to "close their eyes" and slam. Only Chris does that. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

Honestly, i think its a matter of time before people stop overreacting and exalts revert to just somewhat lower than previous value, i expect it will settle at 80-90c or something like that and divines indeed may go up to 400-500c range
Because the only real nerf to exalts was the fact they are no more used for metacrafting wich only really affects very few players who go for super high tiers of item craft, so its reasonable to think the price on top end gear to go up to cover the new cost behind metacraft-created stuff, but the majority of stuff will either remain in about the same price(speaking in chaos, wich is the actual measure the vast majority of the players use) or might go a bit lower because exalts are sligtly cheaper Im quite sure that mid-league and later the general prices of stuff will return to where it always was, with exalts still being used as the to-go currency for most mid-high stuff and divines being used as intermediate between exalts and mirrors. Itens that were measured in hundreds of exalts will probably now going to be measured in lower amounts of divines(but by how much lower in divines comparable to previous worth in exalts is hard to say, as divines will certainly be worth more than exalts ever were and metacraft will be proportionaly more expensive) The reason divines cant outright replace exalts is exactly the reason people are freaking out about: Taking away the vendor recipe makes them just too rare to be default currency. If you try to sell something mid or mid-high range and really insist people to to pay in divines, youll likely end with the item sitting on the shop until it goes standard... more likely, most will just treat any divine they come across as a mini mirror and just exchange them for exalts or chaos to have a currency that is more pratical for the range of gear they use and divines will be more used by the almost-no-lifers who goes for stuff just below mirror range |

" Hey, i do it as well :D (actually me and a friend always slam/annul etc items without looking and then post them to the other and he has to comment lol) "Glattes Eis, ein Paradeis, für den, der gut zu tanzen weiß" - F. Nietzsche

" Good take, agree. Most people didnt realize that ex will be still used for nearly all other crafts they have been used for before (except metacrafts) as well before they grabbed their pitchforks, so... yea. "Glattes Eis, ein Paradeis, für den, der gut zu tanzen weiß" - F. Nietzsche

" Very few people actually slammed with exalts most of the jewel exalting was done with Leo 3. Even in ssf where i was working several different chars and 10-20 items at a time, i had plenty of time where i had leo 3 ready and nothing worthy to slam. It is just not that useful. It is however possible that crafting 3 suffixes/prefixes then rerolling keep suffix/prefix and then slamming will become more common, but it will hardly boost exalt price much. (and this also realies on copium that keep prefix/suffix is still in the game and are realistic to use). |

The less valuable exlats are the more people will use them.

" Not false, however cases when exalting item has a chance to make it better quite rare, that is why most of them were used on jewels. If you have a 3 stat item, multi mod is usually better option, if you have 5 mod item craft is almost always better. So you need exactly good 4 mod item and even that they only need one exalt. |
