Maybe the worst change in the history of POE ?
" Cheapest Sacred Orbs are 6ex atm. ![]() (Everything above the red line is a price fixer. I shouldn't need to mention this, but this is the internet). If people are so convinced that exalted are going to bottom out completely, I will happily buy them all from you. In bulk. For 20c each. K? The market is currently at 60c on standard, which is where I've been liquidating. I look forward to buying them back cheaper later on if I even need them (which I probably wont because Exalt utility is basically zero). I'll keep 100ex just in case GGG realizes that their changes are insane and keep metamods as exalt based.

Its not the worst change, but probably the dumbest & poorly planned one.
1. No way of getting divines besides drops and 1 divination card. 2. Huge sink of divines in endgame, them being used for meta crafting AND re-rolling uniques. 3. No sink for exalts in end game, therefore their value is almost completely gone. Who tf would slam their endgame items with exalts? There are much better ways to finish off items using meta crafting, betrayal, etc. 4. Unique item prices are gonna have absurd ranges, given how much variance they have & how expensive it will be to re-roll them now. There will be a whole economy of scumbags who scam noobs by buying their well-rolled uniques and selling them for 10x more. Probably gonna be a hell lot more price fixing on uniques too. I'm 50/50 on skipping this league too, or only play SSF to spare myself the hassle of trading. |

" I literally bought a sacred for 130c a few days back, before the Kalandra announcement, what a generous price fixer! I'll happily sell it to you for 5ex if you really think it's worth 6 tho k? Last edited by Kanjiedge#3387 on Aug 13, 2022, 8:32:08 PM

They should of taken the function of a divines re rolling mods out because no one is going to use that now other than mirror-tier shit. And now when you get something good and wish it was better it will feel like shit that you can't make it better because the cost of it, 200+ chaos easily isn't worth it. Good job ggg. Or they should of made a new rare currently ONLY for meta crafting. Because meta crafting currency spending will always trump whatever hell the base function of it is, and in this case re rolling affixes range. Granted it will be exciting to find uniques well-rolled...yet uniques are still going to be trash but...baby steps?

" What do you reckon exalts will be used for? I'd be surprised if they even go for as much as 20c. There's literally no use for them now besides slamming items, and even for those I'd much rather use a conqueror's exalted vs the regular one. |

That's the key I think people are missing. In order to have exalts be worth something, people have to actually be buying them.
But think about it. Why would *anyone* want to buy an exalted orb? What reason would they have to buy one? "I have chaos, I need an exalted orb" is not a scenario anyone will find themselves in - ever. There will be *zero demand* for exalted orbs. I can't believe they aren't worthless already on standard. I'm hedging my bets at this point that GGG may keep the 6 link recipe removal (which does make sense, although having another source of divine orbs would be nice to offset) but revert the metamod change and metamods will remain exalt based. So I'm holding 100ex in standard just in case. They just clearly havent considered that the base functionality of exalts is not useful to people. " Sure msg me right now. |

" I already liquidated all my exalts on standard. What I have left is what I'm keeping as a hedge because I believe GGG might have to revert meta crafting back to exalt based. Last edited by SanitaryNapkin#4202 on Aug 13, 2022, 10:02:35 PM
