Standard is officially for " Single Players ". Shuttle them there. League is for Party Players.

Sounds like someone trying to go off topic to a personal degree for a general topic. Also I could get a kid off the street to realize that Standard League is single player league, faster than ya'll will admit.


If mentioning that Standard League is dissing Single Players; then you should reevaluate how much single players are really offering to this game. That is hardly a diss unless you admit that Standard league is a below average experience. Which gameplay wise, you may play Standard as a solo player & have more of your precious " achievements " as well.

Also you guys forget to mention 100 threads of people asking which league is more popular for multiplayer reasons. So am I the only one trying to determine which league is more multiplayer based? No. Lots of people have been for years now. They want the more POPULAR league to play.

Nobody is asking, which league is best for single players, or barely anyone. They have threads asking which league is better for population sizes.

Not everyone who wants something from POE is going to make a account to speak. Aka 20 million mmo'ers not playing Lost Ark or New World. Yet they view Lazy Peons vids.

As for fps with parties, I wouldn't know. I am playing on a 2 year old laptop only worth 600$ at the time, which is already a below average spec pc. With only 8gb ram & 1050 TI gpu. & I was getting 15 to 60 fps, tho with pc restart I get 80 to 120 fps. Endgame parties has more fps lag I suppose with screen spam. Sometimes turning on see all loot makes the game crash for parties, if map is filled with loot. Bout it. So far without field loot names turned on, party fps runs fine for me.

Tho really I'll be saving for something better by next year. So if your pc is more of a potato than mine, maybe we both should save for a new pc. Besides trying to act like standard league isn't for loners or solo players. Either way you may play both however you want, tho 1 league is def sought after for online potential.

So we got reasons to not play standard as a solo player: low fps pc's, antisocial stash traders, & some guy mentioned having a job which makes no sense as standard gives you more time to play a hero.

That's it? Fps party problems effects like less than 15% of players I bet. As lots of people still party. If fps party reasons is a problem for more, well guess they should fix that then or tame the aoe effects or something, still probably somewhat of a minority. I mean lots of people sure have better pc's than my laptop. & yet my laptop handles poe fine.

Trading reasons? Standard still has trade, just takes a few minutes more. Or you can just trade from a season league once awhile, then keep all the items after. Also do you even need to trade for Standard? Offers so much more time to invest with a hero, you may acquire all the items yourself. Trading is practically a timed reason for needing it to exist, which pertains to seasons, not standard.

So get a better fps pc for parties, you don't need trade at all for standard, & balance your job to pc gaming time by 1/3rd or 1/4th of your week.

Then rename seasons " Party League " & Standard is " Solo League ". Now both teams get a league to improve, solves everything. Or else you get tons of speedbumps, game design with 2 teams playing tug of war.

P.s. Single players are going to fail at rivaling D4 btw. Good luck with that.

You do not have the authority to make the decision that "this part of the game is for solo players and this is for party"

Even less so when you do not play league content and claim it's for party only

I think it should be the opposite.

Standard for party.
League for solo.

Party play is one of the last things left to nerf in league. POE can keep party bonuses for standard because standard doesn't really matter.

The best way to SLOW EVERYTHING down in league is to kill party play. Then it will be pretty much SSF in practice for everyone. That is best way to slow progression which is GGG's ultimate goal.
