Standard is officially for " Single Players ". Shuttle them there. League is for Party Players.

I don't come to the forum very often so maybe I missed something, but what is this topic about ?

What is the issue with people playing solo league ? How does it affect others group play ?

The guy wants to change poe to be a completely different game and is very loud about it.

Just re title Standard League to " Single Player League "

Standard League IS Single Player League, its official. Yay you single players have a place to go now, woohoo. So if standard league is dull you know why, single players are dull. Or unpopular. & ye I only played Diablo 2 solo half the time when I was a teen & that was before 10 years of mmo's.

So keep saying, " no thanks " all you're really saying is how boring Single Player League is, with every " no thanks ". That you don't want to go to Single Player League.

Stating standard league is the new Single Player league, is hardly a mmo talk overall. It's more a relabeling something that has already existed for years. That should have been defined years ago.

People salty that Standard League is as dead as single player fans are. ghosttowned, like their end game town is.

You play the new league just for the mechanic? That you ironically probably skip for over 90% of the new league. As most of these tryhards skip the league mechanic for most of the time I play with them.

Most of the items transition over, theirs plenty to do for standard you don't need league challenges or bonus mtx. Theirs plenty enough activities for standard. Actually more to do for Standard, without a time limit. Naw none of those excuses work, at all, zero. Most of it transitioned over, or enough of it, even better more polished when it does.

" completely different game " lol same maps, just bridged. Same multiplayer just more. Same story, just more of it. Same parties, just more strategy. Same gems, just pvp duel gems added to the fray. Different game ye right, same game, more stuff, just more stuff unrelated to generic single player stash hoarder topics. Or with less isolated meeting stone formats like hideouts are. Why are " I don't party with anyone " people even on the forums to begin with. Go talk to yourself on the solo forums. Oh wait their isn't a forum for solo players to be antisocial. " Here let me write 4 pages of a guide telling everyone how I did everything solo ". Why write at all, your whole game plan is to not hangout with others, so why hangout with them via the forums? Why " guide " them, when your whole game plan is to not hangout with them.

Somehow I find half & half people more bothersome than people find my mmo talks or I find their single player style. At least we picked teams to support. Half & half people have no team, are okay with both, & evolve neither.

Also those single players apparently play for the loot & not the story. Or " achievements ". Don't they only represent half of the single players? As the story isn't being expanded & maps aren't ever going to help the story. Or have a linear path to do so. So by " single player " you don't actually mean story pve, you just mean loot pve. So isn't that only entertaining half of the single player anyways? That should tech split the single player team to a civil war. Tho I suppose loot has ignored the story element for so long, people forgot what that's like.

Tho since the new patch notes are here, this thread is done for & time to be positive about the new league.

My party members are already too much of tryhard zoomers, very nerdy to approach a game by only means of trying to appear elite at endgame, meh. As the only form of entertainment? No. Slow the freak down. Enjoy some parties maybe. Help some noob get to a new plateau without bailing on him. So what does that make a person who has no time to be even a tryhard party zoomer, but has to be a solo extreme zoomer? At this rate, I could care less how fast you grind as a overall goal for what you believe makes this game great. If you're against evolved party features, than you must be a damn zoomer. & If you're a damn solo zoomer or ditch your party members zoomer, well I could care less about your opinion anyways. Tbh. If zooming less for party formats is a diff game, then sure, polish a diff game.

never did party play, or group mf style made over a mirror this league. Each league I just learn more and more. I don't care about being the fastest to maps or the fastest to riches I just wanna play poe.

in that regard you don't need party play to enjoy the game. you can literally sit in your hideout and make plenty without even putting in the effort of the group players or just play the game and sell loot. I did a whole day of of simulacrum and sold all the eessence /fossil/catalyst had 1000's of chaos orbs just from that so many ways to get your currency just gotta learn the ropes.

what if I want to ssf and also test the new league mechanic?

What if I'm engaged and planning a wedding but because of that I have less time for league and don't wanna be inundated with new stuff?
