You're not wrong. Though gear still has (had?) use. I would look at it more like this: the floor for minion builds was quite high because a lot of your base power came from the gems, ascendancy and tree. It was an easy go to build in gear stringent situations because of that.

GG gear still took minions to silly places like the 7 link helmets, etc. The ceiling on minion builds is certainly debatable, but I personally think it was still pretty high. Not as high as other builds, but more than enough to do everything in the game.

Dont bother with this guy. This guy claim that you need to spend at laest 1000 exalts on CoC build for it to START feeling good.

Minions are still fine to play, but Bone Rings are absolutely rubbish.
Rubbish implicit, and mediocre overall stats. If they changed the implicit and added a socket, then they could at least have some appeal.

I think minion stat'ing is a good addition but personally I felt all the items (bone rings/wands/shields) have weightings too poor to be usable in most circumstances. The only reason I found a usable wand this league was 30 convoking wands drop per map and some people pick them up (love you guys).

Minion crit needs to be substantially higher than it is, we probably needed some interesting but rare minion stats too like minion pen, added as extra X etc to really get it going.

I personally didn't have a problem with survivability but I did play minions back when we used to have to block cap zombies to do regular shaper so I kinda just went back to old times :p

Learning that they wont even be unset versions was the final for me tbh.
I kept looking at them but could never find a spot for them in my setup.
Cuz no unset.

Wishlist unset bone rings and unset bone talisman versions AVALIABLE outside tradecrap.

Found this just on the floor on a T5 map during leveling, keep it until I craft better.


Together with an rare armor you could get 50% block without tree investment - not that bad, +50% of your bone offering if you use this path.

Those bone ring and shield are fine. But ring slot are used to resistance, maybe cure, stat and one socket ring... SO you have to look for these from other slots. Some build require a lot of unique can't fit it. It's so annoying to cap res without ring slot. And honestly, even with 2 GG bone ring, i still feel weaker

Funny because I have a bone ring, doesn't make my minions better but it vibrates and makes me very very happy.
