It all comes down to Bone Rings.
If Bone Rings have REALLY good minion mods high end investment minion builds will be fine. What do I mean by REALLY good minion mods? Well, what if they can roll +1 all minion skill gems? Thats +2 minions right there. What if they can roll high crit values, like 50% crit multi? What if they can roll high % min dam values, like 60% increased minion damage. So, it's too soon to say if the sky is falling on Minions. Although it seems likely minion meta has moved away from Necro, and into Guardain/Occultist/Elementalist. Reallly good gear is only for top players so...for the majority rip minions

Bone rings need to have insane mods in the pool, or they are dead on arrival.
Why DoA? because virtually every single minion build does not have enough gem slots, and Unset rings are the answer, so the mods need to be good enough to lose 2 gems from your build. Frankly I can't see that happening. |

GGG even explicitly mentioned that more will be announced next week.
So there is no doubt going to be some awesome and useful things for players to make OP builds. Community just overreacts ALL THE TIME and has done so since 1.1... every league without fail. |

" I'll believe minions are in the ground dead when I see the tombstone. There have been far too many "minion killing" patch notes only to see them easily destroy most things afterward. Maybe this is the patch that actually did it. We'll see. I'm personally skeptical. Thanks for all the fish!

When people say "minions are dead" they mean "the minion build I enjoyed got nerfed".
Skeletons got nerfed, meanwhile Golems, SRS, Phantoms, Relic and prolly something else got buffed. Now every folk that played Skeletons will move to either golems or spectres. Maybe even the Phantom staff will be useg again. Last edited by Aynix#7757 on Aug 4, 2022, 5:25:20 AM
