Just thought of a way to better explain it. I have life gain on hit, leech, regen, and life when hit... I'm continuously hitting mobs with cyclone. My HP is not going to max and is sitting at spots 10-50 points below my max while I'm hitting stuff. Why wouldn't my life go to max when I'm hitting 10x a second for 50 gain a hit even if I get hit or take damage? It's simply plateauing below max and it's like the regen/leeches/gain on hit are turning off for a 1-2 second period. I could understand if I go to max, get hit and it drops.. thats normal... though I am noticing it's not going to max for a second or two after I've been hit while I'm hitting (proccing life gain on hit) and NOT being hit back. This is the moment where I get one shot by trash mobs with no mods.... the period in which the regen is not applying. I"m not a RF / self harm / degen self build either so it should be going up to max life, even if I lose the HP right after. This began after patch 2-3 nights ago.

DoubleU, have you experienced the issue? No? So you don't have a clue what you are commenting on and attempting to invalidate others observations for what end? Ostrich sticks head in sand and sees nothing wrong.
Recap the heist bug threads about missing npc's or stuck rogues and there's a ton of posts like that telling people everything working fine... and then there was a patch that fixed it. Amazing how a patch was applied to a problem that didn't impact some players... |

15-20% of the league played RF this time around.
20%. THOUSANDS of players. People league started it! And some of them are still playing this late into the league. If there was a "problem" with it in heists, it would have been found day 1/2, when people were farming heists. and there would have been detailed posts about it. not this 'it dont work in heists'. |

Problem began couple days ago, right at or after patch 3.18.1c roughly; think about a week now, so players at league start didn't encounter this. Discovered in heist, seems to be occurring outside of heist as well. If I understood exactly how, would explain and recreate issue on demand to demonstrate.
Symptom: Life pool stopping short of maximum by between 10-50 points roughly. Not refilling from flask, life gain on hit, regen, or leech. After 1-2 seconds, regen resumes and goes to max life. In that 1-2 sec period seems like regen not working. For builds that use regen/life gain loops for defenses (like rf), you get killed in that 1-2 sec period. Seems to be related to either ignite or burning. Noticing it occurs after an ignite has expired on non-rf build (maybe ignite icon removed before degen effect?). On rf build, turning off rf at times. In-game work arounds: - Pay attention to debuffs closely, recognize when max pool stuck below max, run for 2 seconds after ignite til regen resumes and hp pool hits max again and pray you're lucky enough not to get smoked. A bunch of players I've talked to who have run into this haven't posted as they either don't know how to report it, are waiting for next league/patch, and don't want spend the effort getting flak on forums for reporting something like this when others aren't experiencing it. I am going to toy round with this tonight and try pinpoint how to recreate. |
