They look like every other blue pack or yellow mob in the game. They just have an extra line in their mouseover description saying "drops more and better loot" in addition to their standard lines like "reflects elemental damage".

If you meet a yellow one you won´t notice at all (if you don´t read the mouseover text), if you meet a complete pack of blue mobs, each of them should drop 3-8 items (depends on IIQ) if you play solo.

My only yellow one so far dropped 2 blues and 2 yellows if I remember correctly, nothing what other yellow mobs won´t do...

My only pack consisting of 5 zombies dropped lots of whites, 10 blues and 6 yellows. So again, nothing extra ordinary...

The only reason I know that wealth mobs even exist is from the loading screen.


Never seen on in game.

I saw one, just after I first saw the loading screen hint, on my very first character. My thought was 'Oh, they can't be that rare then' - and I haven't seen one since.
Same way that I thought GCP drops can't have been that rare, found about 4 by mid cruel on my first character, used one and spent the rest on rubbish, and haven't found one since.

Been playing about six weeks. Found a pack of blue 'bears' in cruel Crossroads. I had killed all but one if them, some if them off screen, before I noticed what they were. Without any Iiq iir on at all, they all dropped two or three rares each.

If you see them, port out and get your mf gear!

First wealth mob I encountered was a rare bear, ported out, threw on some rings/ammys as they were the only MF gear I had and got 5 rares for my efforts. Not exactly bad

And I posthumously worked out I'd ran into a pack of wealth mobs on ledge whilst farming fully geared, more than a full inventory of rares and a 5L (level 28 base) bow :/

I remember all my wealth mobs I think :) A Rare mob in fellshrine (cruel or merciles?) was largely underwhelming, dropped like 2-3 rare items, then there was a blue pack in lunaris lvl 2 (after the patch, so ilvl 67), I didn't have a lot of IIQ/IIR gear then so the drops weren't good either.

But a week or so ago I ran into a group of Wealth golems in a 57% quantity Reef map, got smart and killed them with 100%IIQ/200%IIR culling strike Frenzy, made a pic to commemorate the drops off 5 out of 8 golems:
