The vault pass still sucks
" Glad to hear I can skip berating you :p like people can spend money on what they want but if nobody bought this we wouldn't see MTX presented in this scam format in the future. Its a 2/10 cash grab battlepass when there are hundreds of functional and perfectly enjoyable examples out there for them to mimic if they went that route. Honestly it made me frown as much as the first time I saw a lootbox, sadly that didn't turn out well either ;p |

Can you play the game the same way as the people without it? YES No one is forcing you to buy it, if you dont want it, JUST GUIT crying about it and dont buy it, if you like to support GGG and like the MTX, just buy it and enjoy your new MTX. |

I'm not the biggest fan of it, but if they would have let you use points from your account that you've already bought to buy the vault pass with, I think I would have been largely more in favor of it.
I still bought it because of my frequency of using bottled faith and headhunter each league. Will the other MTX items go unused? Most likely, but there is also the factor of PoE basically being the only game I play outside of repetitive card games like Slay the Spire, so I'd like to support the people that make the game I love. Is it a worse way to support them than past options they've done? I believe so. While I know GGG is a company, they are still human enough in my eyes that I want to support them at a much higher rate than what most game companies are to me, a faceless/soulless entity. In short, I think they should let us use points from our account to buy it. |

" I see your point, and i have no shame in admitting that i've spent money supporting ggg cause i love this game. but i still feel like i have to call out the BS when it happens because otherwise they'll keep trying to do more stuff like this, and overmonitize everything. If i didnt care about this game, or gaming in general, i wouldnt have said anything, but i honestly DO care about it, so i have to use my voice to try to get people to understand why this is so bad. The scrapbox was a mistake to even make and i feel the exact same way about this pass. we can not let ggg get thru releasing this without as much as a response to the critizism |

This does not belongs to Path of Exile and IF GGG should redo this at one point during 3.18+ they will lose me forever. They allready lost my support in 2019, but they will lose some players that play this game because i recommanded it to them... This game MTX central website looks like a mobile game one now... Path of Exile is a Casino for gambling addicts.
Gambling is not fun nor a game mechanic... |
