Yes I agree its not a good system. Its complained about a lot so they know about it but I have no idea what it would take from a coding standpoint to fix it.

They might look at the effort required not being worth the relatively small amount of complaints it generates a league. Not to minimize how much it sucks for people to lose the loot who likely dont play the game much so they only see that content a few times a league which makes it extra shitty when they lose it.

Pushing 4 leagues a year with all the new content they make puts a lot of old bugs/features (looking at you jumbled text) on the backburner as well sadly.


Also if anyone wants to correct me on why this particular boss loot system is in place please do. Its just what I found in my quick search.
