The Amulet Problem (Ashes + Omniscience)
" How on earth do you reach that conclusion, where are the PvP steamers, youtube channels. Why do you limit it to Softcore Trade league? [Removed by Support] Last edited by Lisa_GGG#0000 on Apr 27, 2022, 9:58:59 PM

They want every useful item to be a competition otherwise they cannot be special anymore and if that happens how will they justify to themseves the amount of no lifing they do?
We cant have abundancy for all cause self esteem of these people seems to be dependant on presence of have nots in the game. No surprise they ask for nerfs and more rng. POE2 should be the ruthless vision experience and POE1 should be the zoom power fantasy sandbox to capture both audiences.
I petition to return all the fun stuff that was removed or nerfed over the years back into POE1. |

" ROFL. PvP as in the trade economy is PvP. Maybe you need more than self-introspection after all. Affliction and Necropolis worst leagues ever. The current game design has slowly turned this game into a loot-shower fest, chase uniques are way too available; and obtaining chase items through stacked decks and valdo's boxes simply isn't fun.

If the issue is price per power, i dont think ashes is really that different from sirus drops...
Ashes handly overperforms for a 50c amy? Sure it does, but cmon, its pratically a travesty inward eye is priced so damn low, people often dont even bother picking it from the floor. And surely if ashes deserves 3exa, thread of hope deserves far better than 10c? |

thread of hope is 10c because of the passive tree changes and Inward is a pretty good item but usually takes quite a few divines, its a reasonable comparison though and the helm still trades well with the right lab enchant/corruptions. Gotta keep in mind that any unique hat/gloves/body/boots was devalued by the eldritch implicits whereas amulets are traditionally a harder slot to craft.
Threads should definitely be tweaked to have some good placements again though Last edited by Draegnarrr#2823 on Apr 28, 2022, 9:24:15 AM

" I dont think threads needs any tweaks, it currently sits on ninja at 17% usage rate so i would say its in a nice spot... Inward eye was always priced at ranges where more restrictive item filters filtered it out Its just those 2 items are exactly the same as ashes: Super good stuff, but grossly underpriced for their power due to sheer availability. Inward eye is a drop so common its literaly more surprising when it DOSNT come out than when it does, threads is also easy to drop, to the point if you want one on a different radius its more worth it to just kill sirus and try for a new one than to spend a divine to get one you already have to the right radius(that changed now that sirus is less available, but almost certain eater of wrolds will also get same treatment in a couple big updates, just like shaper and elder) |

I'm gonna go look at some thread placements as these players obviously have some good spots i've not looked at yet but my point kinda remains, almost every build used a thread and they didn't cost 10c so now that we have less access they should cost whatever they used to with a multiplier. They don't because not every build uses one anymore infact looking at PoE Ninja the price of threads tanked by like day 4 and never recovered.
That isn't a drop rate issue that is a demand issue. Inward is hot but inward isn't as good as ashes, Inward is like great helmet if you want some free damage and an easy go to slot, Ashes is build enabling by itself and superior to amulets until you get to a +2 which are significantly more expensive. I don't really disagree with you though I think Inward being good but common is a good rebuttal, maybe its fine and we should just get used to it (that being ashes), Omniscience is a problem all by itself regardless of drop rate. |

" That is ludicris, trade is not PvP. You do not attack other players with it, there is no recorded metric to judge a winner or loser, there is no actual contest. A epeen measuring contest is not PvP. Even if we make some wierd jumps in logic and say that POE is really just a cover for a stock market simulator how does making access to two new items to a group of players affect that "game"? Do you think that this forum argument is PvP because you keep trying to steal my 'self-introspection' joke? |

omni needs a bit of a nerf regardless of anything else, but they should both have chase item drop rates too. i think thats the only sane take on these 2 amulets tbh.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)

" omni is intresting but they failed a bit by giving it + all elemental resi giving it resi frees up suffix mods and imo thats the mistake, the limited amount of suffix could balance the scaling |
