They are more of a problem than people think.

4/5 of posts mentioning TFT suddenly disappear (probably this one will too).

The question is who at GGG is protecting them and why?

They don't disappear, you can find them all with a simple search but some of them do end up getting locked because people start throwing around all sorts of drivel & unsubstantiated allegations.

No I mean posts, not threads.

The posts pointing out the issues are deleted from the threads, then the threads are locked.

I see, well as an experiment try making a post about how a different group of people are all involved in botting, bug exploiting or RMT and see how long it lasts.

TFT is just another GGG partner in a long line of 3rd parties. It is the 3rd parties that do a lot of heavy lifting for GGG: streamers, poedb.tw, Path of Building, Craft of Exile, Awakened POE Trade, etc. GGG builds a complicated game, POE, and everyone ELSE supports it. GGG has to release a new league every 3 months, it doesn't have time/money/resources to do everything the 3rd parties do.

Nothing will be done because it is working as intended.

I've never heard of Path of Building banning people, or poedb.

Craft of Exile doesn't decide you are offering a competing service and then randomly ban you.

PoEPlanner doesn't have a bad day and just kick off you off permanently cause it feels like it that day.

Yeah, well people don't run off with your stuff on Path of Building, Craft of Exile or PoEPlanner either. Punishments will fit the crime.

Where did you get reliable information that TFT will randomly ban people because they are offering a competing service? The OP whose highest character in trade league is a level 6 ranger named FGFHTUJJFY? If you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you.

Obviously the mods on TFT would have no problem if he posted on his main account and not use that to permanently ban him?

I assume you have reliable proof that this third party site with zero supervision is completely fair, reliable, all mods make good decisions?

That is so fair and unbiased for all players that we can balance the game around it?

You have proof of this, right?

No?

I started this question kinda as a joke to point out how silly your request was. But then asking it, since Chris came out and said they literally balanced the game around, shouldn't there actually be SOME proof? Non-jokingly.

Anyway, if you want proof its pretty random, review chat logs here:

You have to quote back to me where I made the claim that TFT is fair, reliable and all mods make good decisions. I never made that claim.

Here is your claim: Craft of Exile doesn't decide you are offering a competing service and then randomly ban you. Implying that TFT does. So my question about your source is valid.

Are you banned from TFT?

But you've said TFT is working as intended.

So either you think its good that high end crafting and game balance is going through something not fair, reliable, with good decision making and you think that is good.

Or you think it TFT is fair, reliable and mods make good decisions but you cant stand behind it because there is zero accountability or transparency.

Either way, your arguments are circular and this conversation is going nowhere.

I posted screenshot proof backed up by multiple players about how random TFT bans are and are NOT limited to scams, frauds or mistakes by players.

Ill respond again if you make a new point or post your own links.

(No not banned but nor do I use it, and honestly I care less about how they ban people than the fact game balance is designed around you joining a third party discord chat. When I first tried to join TFT it was closed invitation so it wasn't even an option. Another glaring and obvious problem for new players.)

Yes, TFT is working as intended. It is a source for supplemental trading not covered by the official trade system. That is all. It is very successful.

Your two choices only apply to your thinking not mine. It doesn't make sense to me. GGG can ban you for any reason. Is there recourse, accountability or transparency? And you gave GGG money. TFT is free.

I would think that the vast majority of people who trade on TFT never have to deal with a mod. So words like fair, reliable and good decision making doesn't apply.

For all of its faults, a ton of people still use TFT. Do they think about fair, reliable and good decision making? They buy and sell stuff and that is it. They know that sometimes things go wrong. That is why there is a vouch system. A vast majority of users have no problem at all. Maybe most people think that TFT is mostly fair, reliable and the mods make good decisions? That is why they use TFT and continue to use TFT? Just a guess.

If you don't use TFT then it is fair to say that you don't know how TFT works? Mods are mostly invisible. Trading is not all high end stuff too. TFT is really useful for bulk buying and selling. Want to buy 240 maps for 1c each? TFT is good for that. Exciting, huh?

Either way, your arguments are circular and this conversation is going nowhere.

You never answered my question about what you think is good crafting. You claimed that we don't have good crafting because of TFT. Let's say that TFT is shut down tomorrow. What do you think GGG is going to do to make crafting good again?

they have no competition. maybe somebody needs to create an alternative to TFT.

GGG rules are the reason why there is "zero transparency", as you're not allowed to post any screenshots/evidence on this forum.

If you're interested in any particular TFT bans, for most cases, you can find the reports with screenshots on TFT.

Any well run and active guild is an alternative to TFT. So is just playing the game as designed and not relying on "services".
