I think that GGG thinks TFT is good. TFT provides a lot of services and a community to players and GGG for FREE.

If GGG was running TFT they can control who gets to be there and ban for any reason too but then they would have to PAY people to run it. That pay wouldn't be minimum wage. POE is a little more complicated than flipping burgers.

I think that GGG considers TFT to be a partner. As for being hung up on 3rd parties, it is called outsourcing.
