Displaying the mod level/tiers on an item on the ground has been removed. Could you roll it back???
Please roll back to the old functionality, I always used Alt to check the advanced tags / tiers on an item before picking it up.
Obviously you don't do this in super juiced maps as it just crashes the game, but when your doing normal maps I used it all the time. |

Please either revert this change or at least explain why the new behaviour is intended.
i.e. performance issue? problematic interaction that we're not aware of? |

Please fix this.
It's awful for QoL. If it's for performance, then say so and work on a better workaround. |

I thought this was a bug that would be fixed soon. Please display everything again.

they can't roll it back.
instead of screen grabbing and analysing, bots now use the new controller feature to cycle through all items on the ground and access the information of these items. this way the new controller feature just made their life easier, ggg wants to give those bots as little information as possible, especially on items. it's a bandaid which is not gonna help though. age and treachery will triumph over youth and skill!

I agree, this should be rolled back or at at a minimum made a toggleable option in the menu with the default to off, if you guys are worried about it's impact. That way people who consciously choose to enable it understand the 'risks' and can go forth without you losing the reduced load this was supposed to address for the majority of people.
All changes of this nature in the future should at least be made a toggle option with a default disable. You can then gauge the response and log the actual usage and then adjust accordingly, as necessary. No need to remove quality of life stuff with no recourse. Introduce change slowly. Let us make our choice. |
