Thrall of Fervor Eater of World Mobs - WTF is this Damage? Blue lightning Machine Gun Stuff

Shit kills me faster then I can cast my Molten Shell or Vaal Molten Shell
They have an insane reach as well. Starting their Fireing Squad Behaviour when still offscreen it feels like.

So many Times im just walking AND DIE because They hit me with there attack BEFORE I COULD HUMANLY NOTICE THEM.

Jeez these deaths make me so mad because they feel utterly unfair

Ive got 5k Life 86% all ele Res +29 Chaos res 51k armour

To get humiliated by damage this fast this unfair makes me hate on the game.
WHY invest into medigation when going class canon would have the same result but I had tones more damage in most builds.
Goind Proj Skill would even clear them offsreen.

But going Melee (or RF, Melee Range, in my case) just makes you feel treated like a piece of garbage by the game...

happened to me more than a few times. in maps like phantasmagoria where the path is narrow, i reacted 1 second too slow and my health got shredded and lost a portal.

on another occasion which i dont know to applaud or cry, is where i approached an enemy, had some grasping vines ability. firing squad was nearby and starting pew pewing. i instinctively tried to run. grasping vines says no. so back to hideout i went.

a lot of the mobs damage is bonkers I'm more scared of a lot of mobs being close together than end game bosses and like you said those machine gun dudes are the biggest offenders in that aspect theyre responsible for most of my deaths when mapping
The irony is of course that they are irrelevant if you've got any block with recovery, personally I don't like their design its too heavy handed in one category.

Honestly I don't know why they spawn packs of identical monsters, why not mix them up? Most of the problems are caused by identical characteristics stacking to create a problem.

By the way... Isn't this supposed to be an attack projectile? It can't be though, not with 40k+ evasion. These must be spells if I'm not mistaken.
theyre really overtuned.

i wont run eater of worlds in an enclosed map. ive been playing a build that has 14,500 energy shield + 80% chance to evade, and theres been a number of occasions where ive clicked an alter, immediately started moving and ive still been caught in a stream of fire thats literally chewed through over 13k energy shield instantly.


ive been considering making a post about them, theyre so far out of balance, its semi comical. ive had to tune my entire favourite maps selection around them, im running eater in maps like dunes only where i can run around them in complete circles. its literally pop phase run, pop quicksilver, press alter and then immediately run around the centre in a large circle to avoid instant death despite 14,500 hp.

lol, i love the way you avoided 95% of their projectiles in the second clip, but the final 5% that snagged you still ate 95% of your life

Well, to be clear, I avoided all but 5% of the initial projectiles (which instantly ate away ~3k Molten Shell if you look closer), and ran into the trail which almost killed me instantly. Their AoE overlap (and length of the projectile?) still makes them hit so easy at a distance.
Im also having situations where one 1-3 of the group survive but they are still so strong im dying to those as well.
On my (non-block) RF Build, I just die to them 9/10 times.
ESPECIALLY in Maps like Phantasmagoria. Super annoying.
At lvl 95 I just stopped caring for exp and abuse CastonDeath Portal instead of caring to counter them.
My Ignite prolif kinda kills them everytime I die near them so cool.

On my max Block Arakahli (?) Build I can just ignore them as if they dont exist lol.

Absolutly hate them.

Even more then I hate the burning ground effect of the Exarch Altar Mobs.
To which even said RF Build dies a lot.
Which is a joke in itself again.

This mobs alone, makes me shift to searing exach despite the 10% increased damage to tree,

The problem to this mobs is the default APS and the concecutive left and right beam delay is really short, it was under less than 1 sec the "blueray" already shotgunning you, make us can't reach at all, and at any given point our filter block this mobs causing insta death.

I wonder whose idea to make this mob like this? GGG, don't you already see the shotgun potential on mob? now you make this and even make the APS more FAST!?

did you not play it and tested it? I believe someone will think "okay, this is too much, we need to tone it down",
instead of that, they put it in as "engaging" marketing word to make us suffer.
