You simultaneously make a good point then reinforce the opposite side, gaming as a whole has everything catered for and we get real swaggins titles across the board but only when you don't cross section anything. AAA development is literally what you said doesn't happen, they don't make diablo because CoD already exists :p so if you want to see a top investment version of your favourite genre you probably won't. Its too risky they'd rather release unfinished BF2042 then claim it was because of Covid before running headlong into the next identical big budget shooter they didn't finish. As an aside I think this is a huge mistake that larger developers/publishers make there is huge unfulfilled demand for quite a few types of games they all overlook while trying to chase the current fomo dollar, good for indie though. Thanks to all smaller developers tbh GGG included for fulfilling the demand bigger publishers won't. Why dont Lost Ark players go post in Lost Ark forums about how great Lost Ark is and stop doin useless posts here?
